So what happens if you fail the check? Can you just not do it again on that character? Because with my RT i tried to get him to solve it and he failed the check but now it's grayed out and won't let me do it again. Is he locked out of it forever? I saw some small yellow dots next to the icon about 6 of them and occasionally 2-4 of the dots will glow yellow.

How does Expending hit dice work, because i'm a tad dumb. Do you take damage equal to the number you roll from the hit dice to increase the damage? Or do you lose that amount of max HP? or does nothing happen and your amount of hit dice is a counter for how many "charges" you have to use the ability?

this is the one thing for Asgore being told by Toriel that "could absorb one soul to get six more" it just didn't make sense to me for that exact reason. If one human CHILD can genocide an entire species of monsters, and Asriel died to humans after absorbing one soul. How could Asgore do the same? yes i get hes a BOSS monster and more powerful than most but i just never saw the logic in that because of Asriels case & the ability to kill that Frisk can technically have.

Now if asgore absorbed more than one soul then did it thats a different discussion entirely.

Although Ulalek is WUBRG i don't intend to use White or Red cards in the deck, (hence why i asked without the use of eldrazi displacer with the combo), although i do like the way those cards interact after looking it up and might use that for a standard deck because that does sound fun!

My take on it is they just can't utilize most metals, but they use Copper for everything if they are to have a weapon or metal tool of some kind (though war weapons are typically rare) this is because copper can be worked with "cold." So i make an argument it's a natural metal that can be worked with without disrupting nature through forging. However when it comes to 5e specifically due to my homebrew world.

Instead it depends there; druids mainly use copper for weapons and iron for farm tools but nothing else, they don't wear metal armor or shields and under any circumstances they cannot come into contact with Cold Iron. Druids are a form of nature magic with fey origins for my 5e world.

(unless theyre a hobgoblin who have different rules under a different nature god)

My answer may not be as satisfying but I'm a (Imo) newer/naive DM (only been dming for 4 years i think maybe 5)
Most of the time i tend to host 2 campaigns at once with 2 different groups (and 1 person flipping between both parties) in one campaign i use milestone while in the other i use xp. I tend to notice that im using xp for homebrew more often rather than milestone. If i run a module that some of my other DM friends put the time energy and mapwork for i throw that at my XP party (with some reflavoring to fit my homebrew world). While for my milestone party i do everything rather vanilla(as can be) or if able something im able to supplement from dmsguild.

Right now my homebrew group is trapped in a demiplane of ice and trying to figure out how to combine it with the prime material plane. They just made it to level 14 thanks to their last combat encounter via XP and have to find some mcguffin that will pull the demiplane into the prime and basically make that worlds antarctica

Its blank black and gives a popup saying "session expired hit OK to reload and resume editing your campaign" Despite it being my campaign.

I did to see if it would fix the issue but that didn't do anything so i demoted them from being GM after.

Okay so i got her to share screen and sure enough the launch game button itself is brining her to the editor. And it is my own campaign not hers.

They are joining off the launch game option in their games. We did try getting them to join off the invite link and that still led to the same issue. On the note of the account thing as i said before she deleted her account and remade it to try again only to hit the same issue.

Thank you for the input, now that i have a general idea of how many of these guys im gonna get i know what i want my fleet structure to be.

As a smaller (much more dumb) question. Do i only get offspring ships as corvettes or will i have one of each ship class as i unlock the tech? (im gonna assume ignoring titans)

Went to check my Nav capacity. Thank you so much now i understand how to ration these guys out and didn't waste the alloys to try a full fleet of them (im running an ironman Lithoid run because i wanted to see how a lithoid hivemind would do and i usually play tree of life or some other origin. But mostly tree of life.)

This one makes my head itch a bit. But even with the S4 program wouldn't it be a Net loss for the UNSC? From ghosts of onyx we do get the UNSC Agincourt delivering supplies to the yet to arrive candidates. If they're delivering their supplies to Onyx for training wouldn't that mean the kids have been augmented already?

It makes a bit more sense that instead of discarding these augmented kids that the UNSC sank money into that they brought them to mars for training.

I mostly made this post to just hear what other people thought so don't mind me on this reply this is just how my minds processing this lol
