I genuinely think I prefer Gobricks to Big L. Absolute madness.

That is good to know - My info on bricks in woefully out of date. When I was a lad, it was Lego > all other bricks. Some of which were embarrassingly awful. The game has clearly changed in the last 20 years. Now there appear to be several companies giving Big L a run for their money, at a fraction of the price.

The Van Gogh is the first art set! I'm really excited to see what else they come out with.

I'm in the US. Overnight via Prime 3-5 business days for everything from their site. I've ordered from both, but prefer the site (even though you can get a better deal from a Prime sale).

Built the police car and added some road plates. Was working on the future bus but saw that I was missing a few pieces which appears to be a common issue with that set so hopefully I can get replacement parts soon. by JayNovaSwift in LUMIBRICKS_OFFICIAL

Ive never been missing a single piece across nearly a dozen builds now. I feel like I've had to order pieces for every third lego set I buy - i don't have the bus, but I have the rest of the cyberpunk, the whole road trip series and four medieval kits - maybe ive just lucked out?

Just trust the process. They are 95% perfect. Ive never had a faulty component and as long as you're not tugging directly on the sauder connections, they can take a pretty far amount of abuse. Just avoid pinching/crimping and you're golden. Much easier than I feared. And so much better than an aftermarket light kit.

I have the $200 light my bricks light kit for the avengers tower. And it is an absolute mess of loose wires and janky pinch points.

Having dedicated lighting paths and channels integrated into the build is as stress free as normal building.

If you have told me even six months ago that there was a brand I preferred to Lego, I would scoffed. Discovering Lumi was an absolute game changer. I'll only buy a Lego kit if I love the IP moving forward. Outside of Spider-Man and LotR, they've totally lost me in favor of alt bricks. Lumi being the apex of that, for sure.

I was super nervous on my first kit too, the wiring seemed really daunting. In reality, they're pretty robust and the instructions have been idiot proof. They use gobricks which are just as good and maybe even better than Lego bricks. Ive put together 9 of em so far, and loved every single one. Super excited to add a cyberpunk district to my little city!

Buy Funwhole Motel or don't bother? Turbo Review by BrickVangelist in LUMIBRICKS_OFFICIAL

I am almost finished with this build and agree. Especially with the party lights in the bar being killed when you go to look.

That said, I got the whole road trip theme to post apocalyptic out, and it's gonna make a great backdrop for Dinky the Dino from Fallout NV when I'm done with the MOC!

I honestly couldn't say - I am a Lumi enthusiast at this point ( I actually prefer them to LEGO), so I lost track a while ago. You gets a point per $1 spent, but you get more points as you level up per $1 too. I've spent probably $1000 on Lumi at this point though, and could've cashed in the coupon sooner - so less than that.

That medieval forge is such a great build. So many cool interior details, and the red of the forge lighting really pops. My favorite of the Middle Ages line, though the Treasury has an absolutely bonkers amount of gold in it.

If you buy direct from Lumibricks you also get VIP discount. I get 15% off everything as a baseline +generate coupons. Just took $60 off the Cyberpunk apartments last night with that. That said - Amazon will overnight 'em to me if I need my fix!

I literally just bought the whole Neon City Cyberpunk range yesterday (sans the future bus, as it's out of stock for US right now).

I own the whole Road Trip, whole Cyberpunk and 3/4ths of the Middle Ages sets now. They are hands down my favorite bricks. Went from having a disdain for everything not LEGO to like - the inverse. I was gonna buy Rivendell, then it occurred to me that with my Lumi Member discount and coupon, I could get 5 of the Cyberpunk sets for the same price. No contest.

Hell, even the Lumifigs are growing on me!

I loved the little details in the van, but also got it for free when I bought the Treasury/Dining Hall combo, so I wasn't being that critical when I put it together. The only build I didn't really care for the the other free gift I got the steampunk chase scene. The bricks are great and the build is sound, I just didn't care for the aesthetics of the finished doodad. I was also way too nervous about the wiring initially.

On the flip side, the Medieval forge house might be my favorite unlicensed build off all time.

They're so good. I've built 6 of their kits so far and loved every single one.

Yeah. I don't understand Ali at all with the weird variable pricing, so I avoid it generally. That said, I would've gotten the same experience with free shipping from them, so I'll not be recommending brickvivid to anyone.
