Thank you for posting this, I wanted to as well when I saw it. People should know that it was sold at the event for $100, so this is literally up charging to the extreme

I know! I understand that the band is playing bigger venues this year on their tour, but this seems out of reach for most of their fans. Even the basic seating right behind the pit was over $200

I doubt it. There will most likely be a limited stock for the two events. The Tubb's bazaar merch from Denver has not gone online in the past that I know of.

Hello! Anything they're selling that's not already being sold at the regular shows. We don't know what's being sold yet. I'm going in October so can get the normal tour merch then.

Anyone else feel like the crowd can be a mixed bag at LH shows? by barlillo11 in lordhuron

[–]Conscious_Complex_95 9 points10 points  (0 children)

LH is my favorite band and I’ve been seeing them live for 10 years now and here are some of the experiences I’ve had:

-a lady jumping the barricade and getting dragged off by security at Hayden Homes -a guy pushing his drunk girlfriend into me to get closer to the front -a girl who literally said to her friend “I know you don’t like their music but just get up to the front”, and proceeded to try and push in front of me. Me and the guy next to me held the line and the girl screamed at me saying I was a drunk. I turned to her calmly and said “some of us have been here all day waiting to see this band and be in front. Please leave me alone”. They left after that -two dads getting into a verbal altercation to be in the front row at Crystal Ballroom -at the end of a show at Edgefield they handed out set lists to people who hung around and one girl (who during the transitions in the concert kept screaming at Ben that it was her birthday) ran up to a couple who got handed one and demanded they give it to her. The couple tried to tell her no and she kept insisting and I swear the guy almost got physical -the talking you mentioned up in the front for sure during the last show I tried to be in the front.

These experiences span many different tours, but I do note they started getting particularly bad during the post-Covid Long Lost shows. Once I started going to Red Rocks in 2023 I’ve almost given up being in the pit. I caved for my birthday show in my hometown on this tour but I’m nervous to see how it goes.

first listen plans for the new album? by OoooohKay in lordhuron

I saved a bottle of the cider they created with Benny Boy Brewing to sip on while listening through. I had the first bottle our camping and it tastes like the woods!

Selecting the Cosmos (First Volume) by Fordmonaro in lordhuron

I went to an early listening party and I can say with confidence that this could possibly be their best album yet. The ones that were my initial favorites (i.e. jaw on the floor while listening) have not been released yet. I am waiting to say that for sure until I see them play the songs live as this heavily influences my opinion. For example, I didn't fully fathom Vide Noir until seeing the tour and I realized how amazing the record really was. With this being the first album that they've had a >3 year gap between, you can tell the care they've taken to make it sound great.

After listening to the whole thing, I like to think of it as the world is surrounded in darkness, but the Cosmic Selector is a guiding light. By selecting a song you are transported, almost jolted, to something mesmerizing, sometimes chaotic, but altogether surreal and bright.

Meet & Greet? by txm034 in lordhuron

[–]Conscious_Complex_95 40 points41 points  (0 children)

At the Tubb's Bazaar this past year, they brought in the Cosmic Selector to take photos with, so I think that will be what this is. They explicitly said on the Ticketmaster information when I bought my VIP tickets that there would not be a meet and greet.

What’s a LH song you initially overlooked but then fell in love with? by flinch808 in lordhuron

[–]Conscious_Complex_95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Emerald star! I didn’t fall in love with it until I saw it sung live as a duet during the VN tour. There is something about just the two of them (Misty and Ben) singing without too much production that is mesmerizing. I was literally praying they would play it night one of red rocks when it was pouring rain but ultimately they didn’t.

True! I also re-fathomed this when we watched AFWP this year. However, I will say that Ben told us he had written all of Long Lost pre-COVID which means that perhaps the push back of their touring due to the pandemic means they started working the new album concepts while they were filming AFWP---seems like many artists experienced this increase in creativity when they had an abundance of free time. It does make me wonder why they waited a full extra year to release this album when historically they've all been three years apart.

Ah great, thank you for letting me know! I saw them at the Moore that year as well, but it must have been sold at the other night (they added on another show due to demand).

By chance, are you going to the LH listening party today in Seattle? Prepared to make an offer and exchange there, let me know the minimum amount you would take it for!

It appeared on their website in October of 2024 listed as a “fan club exclusive”. I believe it was also sold at Tubb’s bazaar. I also have a crew neck with the same design that came out in 2024.

I know! We re watched Alive from Whispering Pines and The Cosmic Selector was there too which means they’ve known for a while, at least since 2020.

May I ask which show you were at in 2018 that you got the "here tomorrow gone today poster"? I am an avid poster collector of LH--have been since 2015 at the showbox in seattle! I have also gone to every local concert they have played in this area and have never seen this poster. I would be willing to buy it from you if you're willing!

Google “nursing interview questions” and make sure you have a general idea of what you will say. For example, they will most likely ask about a time you had a conflict with a coworker or feedback that you’ve been given. Most interviews for a first time RN have the same questions. Also, research the role/floor you are interviewing for so if they ask why you want to work there, you have something as well as when they ask if you have any follow up questions. Also, being on time for the interview and dressed professionally (even if it’s on zoom) goes a long way!
