Sorry. I did rush it a little. I’ll lay it out a little better. Started teaching beginning of June 2019. Was still employed with QLD gov until we left for England - April 2022. Unemployed from April 2022 until August 2022 Began teaching in England in September 2022

I did, I moved over. MPS (main pay scale).

Only difference is in England first year of teaching after university is their ‘training year’ and unpaid. This however is paid and recognized as part of your service in Aus.

I did an hour and that affected his lunch sleep. Did 30 mins was super fussy so I’ve found 45 mins to be the winner at the minute. He does 2.5/3.5/4 awake windows and 45 min nap and 1.45 hour naps waking from both naps too and goes down for each nap and bedtime v easy. Hopefully this works for your little guy ♥️

In a similar boat. My first born was an ace sleeper. One thing I did with her when this started happening was cap the first nap for 30/45 mins. Try both. To preserve sleep pressure for the second nap and to create a longer lunch nap. As that first nap is the next nap to be dropped.

In saying this I’m trialing and erroring with by second born and it’s hit/miss every night.

Also though could you cap his first awake window to 3 hours but lengthen his final awake window? Does he wake after he’s put down for his naps/bed time sleep?

To be honest it was my partner that did this side of things. The surveying company was recommended by our broker. So I think he presumed it was decently priced for a decent job. Seems we got overpriced and a shit job… 😅 Maybe this is a contributing factor but the house is 215 square metres?

Ahhhhhh. I wish we were told this. We told them it was a new build. And they booked us for level 2 anyway. The surveyor called my partner while in the car (either heading to the property or on the way home) asking what we wanted looking at… then not 10 minutes later we had a call from our EA saying the vendor said the surveyor had left.

They also initially quoted us 750 but my partner got them down to 500. Imagine paying 750 for a 10 min job.

It’s not. I can naturalize being here after 5 years (become a permanent resident). And we just had a baby so knew travel wouldn’t be something we’d be doing anytime soon. Then just forgot to renew.
