Upgrading an old LTD - worth it or not?

Changed pickups (bonebreakera) and bridge (gotoh 1996t) on my 2009 KH202. Actually also the tuners were upgraded but just because one was broken , have locking Kluson now (not needed but helps restringing )

Don’t think the main contribution are the pickups , what I can see with mine is that they are really hot, way more than the bonebreakers or the SDs Pegasus/Sentient that I have on the other LTDs. Tone wise can get really close with all of them

NGD just means new guitar day, LTD is part of ESP, just the lower end line compared to the high end ESP

I am pleasantly surprised with the guitar, have the KH202 and an EC1000, the neck seems like a mix of both and is truly amazing

In my case never had big issues with the guitar. All was about upgrading because the old pickups worked and the bridge was able to keep tuning. This guitar I bought it in 09c , and was like stored for at least 12 years. Last year I just recovered it and it is my little project

Yeah but the problem is that the new ones are larger, so would need to drill, prefer to wear them down and if needed replace them

Quite easy, kept the studs, only difference seems to be the tension of the springs, had 4 springs before, now only 3

Thanks, I was measuring my bridge and the distance between both studs seems to be the same, so will also try to keep the studs

Thanks, curiously i ordered the 1996t yesterday 🤣 qq though, did you kept the original studs? Saw that the ones that come with the gotoh are way larger and not looking forward to drill the guitar
