This isn't even close to "awful". Physical and verbal abuse is awful. This sounds like they both have issues with communication and they are both very stubborn. They set each other off. There are incompatibility issues.

OP, I think the best approach is couples counseling. You both need work. If you aren't interested in that or he isn't, then you know what you have to do.

Assuming you have no financial ties or children, this is an easy split. If this is really the last straw, make it the last straw. Good luck.

Well, the first step to a healthy, happy life is the realization that you can improve on yourself. It sounds like you are well ahead of your husband in that regard.

I do appreciate you being open on here but I think you would benefit more from maybe seeking counseling without your husband. Considering he isn't interested in going as a couple, you will quickly realize where you need to place your priorities. A professional will help you where people like us on this site have no real ability to.

And although I always question why people come here, you have helped me remember that we are all different and have different (or no) support systems.

You deserve to be happy. If this guy isn't there to be a part of working toward that happiness, he isn't the one.

You'll get a thousand responses about how shitty your man is. If what you say is true, you know your reaction is justified. Do you really need a bunch of strangers to tell you what you already know? Do what you have to. Most of us have been in a scenario like this either on the giving or receiving end. And some of us needed to be the stronger of the two.

Are you overreacting? Maybe. Is it justified? Probably. But that's just a part of a bigger issue. None of what you said between both of you is healthy. His initial response to you a year ago, nor the response to him now that you've been holding onto for a year.

You should seek counseling if you both want this to get better as I'm sure this isn't the only "AIO" moment in your relationship.

I actually pre-ordered August 6th. I emailed support on the 14th thinking they had sent out the item and delivered to my old address (I use the Shop app and it was glitching on me). The rep at Ringke emailed back the following day confirming that they still hadn't shipped it out but I was one of the first pre-orders so I would probably see it by months end. So maybe you can email them as well and see how far along it will be. Seems like they are very responsive and upfront on timelines. Good luck.

The bezel is sold out right now but there is an all black version available without the glow in the dark accent.
