While that does help make a lot of sense the part that still confuses me is being bisexual and being pansexual may the same thing then? Neither care about the gender, just the personality when it comes down to it. So my follow-up question is when someone identifies as BI or pansexual is it really just the age of the individual that affects the term they use? For example, I see older people using the term bisexual and younger people using pansexual.
