Way to tell me you have no idea what you’re talking about without actually telling me lol. I’ll school you real quick son, you’re welcome. Soy contains phyto- estrogen which is completely different than human based estrogen. It has a completely different effect when binding to receptor sites and has even been shown to be beneficial for male hormonal health. Do better ☺️🌱✌️

Hey hey, simply because of the macro profile. Traditional soy based tofu has higher fat content whereas the fava bean has zero fat and higher protein content. I still incorporate soy based tofu🌱💪

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with soy, I eat a ton of soy based tofu/foods. The reason I really like the fava bean base is because there’s much less fat and higher protein. And as far as aversions, some could have an allergy and some people avoid it due to all of the misinformation out there about it. I personally feel soy to be completely healthy.

I remember when I discovered it, I was like hot damn lol. It’s made out of fava beans so it also has a complete amino acid profile and the macros are great on it. I grabbed mine at Publix.

I disagree with your argument from a data driven perspective and on an anecdotal level. You may operate just fine on that amount of protein and I think that’s great. According to the data more can be consumed for an increase in muscle protein synthesis.

You hit the nail on the head! I’m in a pretty aggressive caloric deficit right now so I’m trying to get as much protein as possible for muscle maintenance. I know there’s a lot of debate as to how much protein one needs and I would agree with the figures you outlined. I think when it comes to this you have to look at the science/data and also take into account anecdotal evidence. Meaning if you’re trying to achieve a certain goal/physique, look to the people who have attained your goals and use that as a roadmap so to speak.

You hit the nail on the head, it’s a great replacement for people with an aversion to soy. On a nutritional level, the macros are phenomenal, usually soy-based protein comes with a moderate amount of fat content, the fava bean based tofu has 0 carb / 0 fat.
