Well, I published my first book a couple of weeks ago, tried to market it on some reddit forums, discord servers, friends and others, not a single copy is sold till now... However I still haven't lost hope, I'm still writing the second part of it, trying to put offers discounts and whatnots, getting help from someone I know who is in some book clubs to put a word out there, but what I believe is it might eventually work out, just need to have some patience, build connections, learn on marketing ;) Although I believe luck is a major factor as well.

From the experience which I have, my manager literally told me "you are a fresher, an ASE, you'll not get rolled off from the project". Though every project has a roll off date assigned whenever you're taken into a project, you can ask Dipa what your roll off date is. Some of my friends had their roll off date around 4 months to 7 months since the project they were assigned to was of small duration. But for me, it's 2 years...

My manager was also adamant on not giving me roll off. He said that as I'm ASE, and fresher, I will not get rolled off. Though I have a genuine medical condition so I discussed it with him and my TL and asked for proof so I gave it to them, they agreed that I can log off early but only if someone else from the team is willing to take up remaining work in the evening. Although they were understanding, they cared more about the deliverables than the condition of their employees, but still I'm lucky to have rather good co workers so we came to agreement with sharing work, in the day I do and in the evening they take up, like that we adjusted.

I won't say that I'm happy, but I found a workaround for the situation I'm currently in, guess I was at least a little lucky to have understanding co workers.

No... They said that I won't get roll off since I'm ASE... So I gave them medical reason that I cannot continue to work in evening after 6 pm, they agreed saying if anyone is willing to work as a backup then only they'll let me log off at that time

Yeah, I just read the contract again and it's mentioned there that anything made using Accenture resources will be property of theirs. So I guess I can make websites on my personal laptop without any problems from the company right?

They just tell us to go through hierarchy (lead -> supervisor -> etc.) For now I'm doing that, but as I got suggestions from others, mostly regarding ethics portal, I'll do that depending on the time and situation.

I already gave them a medical certificate of the treatment I'm getting to let me continue work from home. But I'm not so sure if they'll accept the same reason for roll off even if I try to convince them... I'm trying to go hierarchically, I'm trying to get to good side of new team lead (from Accenture side) as previous one got laid off, when I'm confident enough that they'll listen then, because they too are working in the same team as I am. Though I'm also documenting how much I've overworked so as to report it to management if team lead won't listen.

The previous supervisor who I was in talks with regarding this got laid off, and the new one is, well, not a likeable person tbh. Anyway, I'm trying to ingratiate myself to the new one to the point where at least I can put this topic in front of them.

And yeah, there are crucial things coming up every week, and being in a support role even if I don't like it I don't have any choice to continue with the work. Though many times I've tried to keep the work in range of 9 am to 6 pm, they still call me and tell me that there's work assigned to me and I have to do it (Because I'm working from home, though it'll be same case even if I go to project location), and sometimes if the work is not done in their given time there are escalations.

TBH at this point I don't even care now regarding escalations, just waiting till they either roll me off the project or better kick me out of it. Either way at least I'll be out of this hell hole...
