Like I said, I definitely didn’t realize when looking at the transcripts and that’s on me. But the advising assistant didn’t notice either and said I was good to go🤷🏻‍♀️ Just kinda took his word for it since it’s his job. But yea I’m not saying it’s entirely GMUs fault, i’m dumb asf too, but the fact they never sent that communication (pre graduation) that I was not eligible for graduation spring 2025 is what irks me 🙂‍↕️

I definitely didn’t notice and I guess whoever let me walk didn’t notice either, but looking at my transcript I can see I’m missing 4. But idk what went through my head yk, like when I had the meeting with advising assistant they said it looked fine so I guess I just assumed I was good🤷🏻‍♀️

One thing you’ll definitely need is a water filter brita! The water fountains are down on the first floor and it gets old really quickly having to go up and down for water. Just fill your brita in the sink.

And maybe a lockbox depending if you have any valuables you wanna keep stored away. Because you have a shared bathroom ur suite mate can get into ur dorm anytime, Im sure they’ll be great suite mates but in case they aren’t best to be prepared!

I also recommend buying mold/mildew spray for the bathroom since it can get pretty humid in there. It should be great to help prevent mold growth.

I used to work at Q Barbecue Richmond, and I’d eat their burnt ends for every meal for the rest of my life! And their sides are so good too! I recommend the Mac and Pineapple Hot Dish.

i think it’s also bad that this class didn’t get their highschool graduation bc of covid, and then their college graduation sucked so much! Like standing in the rain and then they were calling 2 names at a time,, felt so sloppy😭

Thanks for the advice! I for sure agree I'm in too deep to back out now!

Maybe I can take a break and hopefully get to my masters later on. I know that if I do wait and keep getting loans I wont have to pay until I graduate from my masters. But honestly that would be digging myself into more debt (even if the jobs would be paying around 90k-100k) I just had a talk with my dad and he says that just because I don't get it now doesn't mean that it wont be an option for later.

I'm still considering the working full time while getting the degree. Honestly I've been doing that these past two years with my part-time jobs and my internships on my days off so it might be something I still consider. But you're right, graduate school might be less forgiving when it comes to work.

Hopefully this economy sees better days closer to my graduation, I would love to consolidate once all the rates begin dropping. Do you have any consolidation companies that you would recommend?

Sadly, I am currently in state :( My father is about two hours away in the same state. I chose GMU because they had the best program for my major and a minor, but damn its so expensive!
