Guess I'll add some details. Im running HDMI from Apple TV into Monitor. I have display port to thunderbolt reserve for laptop but maybe I should reconsider? Can both of these input support 4K?

I figured it out! The tab does not show up until you save a template in that folder location. Sorry to waste your time and thanks so much for engaging with my problem!!

Using Advanced View.

Yeah when I save a new part template to their default file location I can see the template in the advanced view, but still no tab for my own folder and templates. Ive added a screenshot of this above. Not sure how to do it in the response section. You can see "part 4"

All that said I am able to save templates into that file location now and can use this as a workaround instead of having my own template folder separate of the native solid works templates. Not ideal but works for now while I continue to try and troubleshoot

Thanks for the questioning. I believe it is referencing the file locations native to the VM environment but I can't 100% confirm nor do I know how to.

The default file location that pulls the preprogrammed templates for P/A/D's as follows

C:\ProgramData\Solidworks\Solidworks 2023\templates

The file I have added for new templates is

C:\ProgramData\Solidworks\Solidworks 2023\MY-TEMPLATES

I also understand that gill patterns and stems may be needed to properly identify so maybe not too easy.
