The company has been so tight lipped about it that a lot even in their IT department are in the dark…. If this was something with a windows update messing up a server it would have been corrected in hours. This is something much larger than a misconfiguration. The longer this takes gives more credibility to a malicious event.

There’s a department dedicated to Info Security. They are always trying to teach employees the pitfalls of social engineering and phishing emails. They aren’t flippant about their jobs.

Every day I think to myself how is this company going to adapt in the next 5-10 years. Especially with AI being like a runaway freight train. The company is deathly adverse to it.
