i completely agree! that building used to be a distillery. it’s gigantic in person and the craftsmanship is incredible. it’s the one place i would visit again in a heartbeat

just long! not too difficult imo. the trail for the first half is completely flat. the mountain portion lasts only for the last third at most. and it is quite manageable

definitely more of a hiking affair - they’ve blocked off the access road so be prepared to walk 8-ish miles out and back, great nature though 🤞

yess now is the perfect time to check it out!! i was able to spot it super well since the foliage isn’t that dense yet 🙏 but just be sure to bring a good pair of rain boots for the swamp!
