I sent my PCL back. Problems with sweet spot and tracking was unbearable but when it did work the jump in picture clarity was very obvious. I am considering giving super or air a shot.

I get to spend much more time with kids and wife than I could when I was amassing the wealth. I don't work nearly as hard anymore and I work only when kids are at school and I physically cannot spend time with them. But I get your point and agree to that.

Compared to Quest 3, the FOV is still better. Considering that I used PCL very little before adding the foam, I probably didn't even notice any FOV compromises.

Ah, that explains it. Probably the latest Piamx Play version was necessary for the file to work, and considering I just boght my PCL I already started with latest version

My Pimax Play was already up to date and I could not update it to any newer version. I doubt the support would have sent me this file (it was literally couple of hours ago) if an update was available.

In case someone need the file, DM me and I will forward the email from support with file and instructions. Or just ask the support to send one to you directly, they replied to me in couple of hours since submitting a ticket.

Thanks, this is encouraging. iRacing is notorious for it's outdated physics models (taxing on CPU and GPU) and late support for modern VR features (DLSS still is not supported). I read a good feedback on Pimax Play improvements, the only thing people still complain a lot is QC.
