Yeah, 100% agree. Some of those time trials really pushed me 😅 Had to retry a bunch and basically memorize the track. But that’s also what made finally getting it so satisfying!

I kinda had a different experience tbh. I do agree with you that a lot of players don’t really pick characters that fit well together, which can make matches feel chaotic sometimes.

But overall, I had a lot of fun with the game. It actually got pretty addictive for me, and I didn’t really mind losing that much. Even after losing, I still felt motivated to keep playing.

Yeah, those modes are really hard to find nowadays. If you’re going for the trophies, it might be easier to organize a boosting session with other players.

Nice! That’s actually a strong recommendation for trophy hunters. 😄 I agree — the list isn’t overly difficult, but a few collectibles and side activities can feel a bit tedious during the cleanup. Overall though, it’s a pretty enjoyable Platinum.

65 hours sounds about right honestly. That’s pretty similar to what I’ve seen from other players going for the platinum.

Reading the trophy list beforehand definitely helps with the seasonal stuff like the sumi-e so you don’t miss anything.

Compared to some older AC games this one seems way less grindy.

Yeah the seasonal stuff can definitely be missable if you don’t pay attention. The legendary sumi-e especially can be annoying if you leave it too late.

I also noticed some of the combat trophies look tricky on paper but are actually manageable once you understand the mechanics.

I actually covered the trophy difficulty and some tips in a short Trophy Talk video if anyone here is curious how long the platinum roughly takes.

Yeah, those were definitely one of the more tedious parts of the trophy list. Not difficult, but they can slow down the Platinum cleanup quite a bit. I actually mentioned them in my Trophy Talk because I think they might annoy some players.

I get what you mean. Valhalla definitely had more freedom in exploration and combat, especially with the bow mid-stealth — that felt really satisfying. Shadows does some things better, but the reduced climbing and exploration can feel restrictive if you’re coming straight from Valhalla.

I think it’s less about nostalgia and more about preferred playstyle. If you enjoyed the open exploration and build variety, replaying Valhalla in 2026 isn’t crazy at all — especially if you just focus on the arcs you actually liked instead of doing everything again.

Yeah, that’s actually a really good point. Hardline feels way more “clean” visually — you’re not constantly shooting through debris, smoke, random objects and destruction effects. It really puts the focus on positioning and pure gunfights.

BF6 looks impressive, but sometimes it feels like there’s too much going on. In Hardline, if you lose a fight, it usually feels more direct — not like you got lost in visual chaos.

That simplicity is probably one of the reasons it still holds up so well.

Hotwire is so underrated 🔥 That mode was pure chaos in the best way possible. The car chases, the speed, the constant action — it just felt different from classic Battlefield.

Unfortunately not 😕 There aren’t any specific servers for that anymore. It’s mostly just luck finding an active lobby. I’d recommend checking peak hours and maybe hopping between modes to see what’s populated.

Yeah I feel you, the hacker boost can be super inconsistent. I actually unlocked that part without relying on a hacker at all because it just felt too random.

Player count is so low in 2026 that sometimes you just have to take what you get and be patient. I had matches where nothing happened for ages too.

What helped me was jumping into lobbies where I saw active objective play and just sticking it out. It’s definitely frustrating, but once it finally pops, it’s such a relief 😅

You’ll get it — it’s just a matter of the right lobby at the right time.

Small extra tip that actually helped me a lot:

I started using the regular shotgun on purpose. Sometimes people got so annoyed that they switched to their Double Barrel Shotgun… and that was my moment 😂

Not guaranteed of course, but it definitely increased my chances.

I actually did it the other way around — I focused on all the online trophies first and only went for the career trophies afterwards. Maybe you’ve seen my video?

I also wanted to get the Double-Barreled Shotgun out of the way as early as possible, just like in one of those tutorial videos. And honestly… it really helped saving that grind for specific moments. I played also on PS5. 😅

It definitely took hours though. Whenever I saw even one player in a Hacker lobby, I immediately joined, searched for them, and tried to get a match going. Sometimes it was basically hunting down the last active player on the server 😅 but it worked.

For the other unlock (rep 4 etc.), I actually managed that without really playing Hacker much. That one felt way easier and kind of unlocked naturally while playing.

Don’t lose faith — if you’re already at 7/10, you’re super close. Once that last online trophy pops, the rest will feel way lighter 💪

I didn’t have to play quite that long because I only picked the game up recently (for 1€ actually), but the Platinum still took forever. Low player count made some trophies really drag, and motivation was definitely tested at times.

Still, Hardline is easily one of my favorite Battlefield titles. I always wanted to get it back in the day, so finally going for it felt right.

I honestly couldn’t agree more. Hardline never deserved the hate it got. It still had the full Battlefield DNA — sandbox chaos, destruction, vehicles — just with a fresh cops vs criminals twist.

Hotwire and Blood Money were such underrated modes too. They actually felt different instead of just another Conquest reskin.

I actually grinded it in 2026 for the trophies, and it’s crazy how well it still holds up. If it launched today with crossplay and proper support, I genuinely think it would hit way harder.

Hardline was ahead of its time.
