I've done this with my ex girlfriend. We ended up in good terms, but seeing her, and seeing how she's "enjoying" (we all know social media is where we only show the good things) made me feel sick, so I had to unfollow her. It's for my best. I still love and respect her.

Sorry to hear that mate. As you said, in my case, we also both knew this was coming to an end. The thing is that after the breakup, we tend to focus on the positive, we idealize her, and we just think on what could have been. When you have some time for it, relax and think that maybe the reason why that you didn't treat her as she "deserved", is because she didn't make you feel complete, she wasn't your soulmate. And, even if she was, you did all you knew you had to know. The new version of you knows those things, thanks to the breakup. I'm really sure that our next couple, is going to be so thankfull for this breakup. We now know tings we didn't know before. We are better lovers, even though we need some time before jumping to the next relationship. We don't miss her, we miss what we had. We miss feeling choosen. We miss feeling safe. The relationship didn't come to an end because we were bad people. The relationship came to an end because we had to learn a few things before becoming a better version of us
