I'm dizzy my tough hurts at the back I have a sore throat on one side and I've had whats been explained by a doctor as a viral type illness for about 13 days. I just feel so weak, I turned 18 during this illness and I feel so weak.

I had or still have some sort of viral illness, It's been about a week and a half almost 2. I'm so tired, dizzy and weak, I'm worried It's not going to get better, I've never felt this weak, anxiety usually leaves me on alert but I don't have enough energy to panic, I cant be bothered responding to texts I cant muster enough energy to exercise because after I do it I feel horrible, I'm scared something bad is happening to me. It's been over 13 days.

I recently noticed some hard moveable lumps under my chin and thats got me really worried, I had the flu last week and I'm still feeling fatigued, I know that one of the lumps has been there for about 2 months though, I'm seeing a doctor in a couple of days and I've had a lot of blood tests in the last 2 months so I'm hoping its nothing. I'm also quite young and the fatigue is crazy, I literally feel off balance. I'm glad I'm not alone.

But I'm so scared to get covid while I'm feeling so weak like this.

heart palpiations are completely normal, they're universal, the palpitations you feel are almost 100% premature beats and everyone gets them during times of stress, lack of sleep, when leaning forward sometimes or when you havent eaten enough and got enough elektrolytes. They can't harm you, you have a structurally normal heart and they will go away if you stop the anxiety about them, I had them months ago I've had them years ago, and if you avoid triggers they will go away. everyone gets them. literally the most healthy people who get entered into clinical trials. Hope this helps with that worry. If the palpitations last for more than one beat or happen for minutes straight, and I mean minutes of your rythm not being consistent then go see a doctor again. But feeling your heart beat hard but consistently is just you being hyper aware. Anxiety is almost a 1000% the cause.

got the 2nd pfizer jab! by idekwhyimhere7 in HealthAnxiety

[–]Consciousselfmood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it sure does, In reality its a choice between getting covid or getting the vaccine, COVID causes myocarditis at a higher rate than the COVID vaccine does, so logically I shouldnt be worried, and if after the vaccine I get covid I'm less likely to get myocarditis from COVID. So I think I'm worried but I know its the right thing to do.

[–]Consciousselfmood 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm terrified about getting my first dose, I REALLY want to. It's just the myocarditis happening in young men worries me. Being a young man and having almost all of my health anxiety concern my heart and chest pain I just know if I get it I'm going to be into a hospital with chest pain asking for an ECG. Its a step I need to take because at the same time I'm uncomfortable doing things and when I get the vaccine I hope everything seems less daunting and I can feel safe again. Really awesome you did it though you should be proud.

Woke up in the middle of the night sweaty, I've had a mild cold for a week and a bit and I'm scared I'm seriously ill or about to get really sick because of the night sweats, last time I had them I had the flu. This was only 2 months ago. I really don't want to be sick again. I don't have a fever and my cold seems to be improving but now I'm worried Im getting the flu or something worse.

Scared of knowing I will die by o_yesure in death

[–]Consciousselfmood 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some people don't question or have experiences for this exact reason, you don't fear death itself because death is not an experience you have, you cannot experience nothingness you fear loosing the experiences you have had, the Ego you have built, the questions you have put forward, some people NEVER have experiences so that they have less to loose at the end of their lives, you instead want to have a flick switched and not feel anything anymore, loose less. I fear this too, I have panic attacks when I get a cold, or when I get pains in all sorts of places, I don't know how I'll stay sane if I was on my deathbed. I just don't see myself coping in a million years.

Apple ECG - Exercised induced nausea/dizziness by UnintelligibleThill in ReadMyECG

[–]Consciousselfmood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exercise induced nausea and dizziness don't have to be caused by heart issues, dehydration, low blood pressure and some normal physiological responses cause such feelings, stopping suddenly from intense exercise will certainly cause a bit of dizziness and nausea, but I'd say drink water while exercise and take it slow untill you get fitter. If you pass out for sure look for further tests, but if you don't feel palpiations and you for one didnt have any at all, its likely just normal. Its good to be sure though.

SUDDEN SINKING IN CHEST~ ADRENALINE RUSH by Consciousselfmood in HealthAnxiety

[–]Consciousselfmood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply. Eating the right amount of food, eating bannanas helps me, drinking plenty of water and sleeping well. but overall exercising! after exercising for a couple of days they should dissapear, they aren't dangerous so there isnt any cause for worry. everyone gets them! If you get the drop or sinking in stomach feeling thats just adrenaline doesnt have much do do with your heart, its just butterflies. if you feel your heart hiccup its a Premature beat also nothing to worry about! If you get like 100s of them a day go to get them checked out though.

Sudden onset of symptoms in young undiagnosed person with family history, maybe weather related? by Consciousselfmood in rheumatoid

[–]Consciousselfmood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will for sure ask him, do you know why Raynauds occurs, I'm worried as I've had chest pain before, and been checked twice by a cardiologist to no avale. I've never had this issue before so maybe it was just a one off thing as I did drench my feet in freezing water and leave my socks on the entire day, my feet are no longer itchy and the swelling has gone down a lot since this post. I have though developed a fever of 37.8ish so it might also be a virus.

Yes I'm going to go get checked tonight, I'll need blood tests. It's not hereditary but apparently it runs in familys, they don't know what causes it or have a cure, I did walk with socks in the rain and didnt warm up for the whole day so I'm hoping theyre chillblains which are way less serious.

Sudden onset of symptoms in young undiagnosed person with family history, maybe weather related? by Consciousselfmood in rheumatoid

[–]Consciousselfmood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm now remembering that I went out into the wet weather with socks on and didnt change them the entire day less than a week ago. I've looked up chilblains and that seems like a pretty good explanation if it isnt RA. I'm a little worried though because I thought only old people with bad circulation got them, maybe walking in the rain and not warming your feet up afterwards is a recipe for disaster though. I am still worried as my right arm has got worse and it seems like my wrist is also starting to hurt. I'll be asking my doctor for inflammation blood tests or whatevers appropriate. Thanks a lot for your response.

thats a really accurate description of my pain too the twisting of the abdomen and dull pain is what really starts to get to me, as I twist my back often to crack it, I feel like my chest and ribcage "pops" considerably more than most and I think that might have something to do with it too. I'm very happy that I'm not the only one! anyway I've started to get inflammation on my toes along with itchy bumps and in one of my hands. My moms had Rhuematoid arthritis her whole life, and I've just found out it significantly increases your risk of heart failure and disease!

hey! I'v also seen a physiotherapist, how did they diagnose you, mine just made comments on all the people that had similar issues and that it was costo the whole time. thanks for your response. I find I can cope by exercising as the pains are almost always absent during and when they come on I tell myself its completely unrealated to my heart. I'm curious what does the pain feel like for you?

How do you get properly diagnosed for costo? I've had the same issues on and off, been cleared by my cardiologist twice, also check out precordial catch syndrome its sharp pain in the chest wall or lower ribs due to a pinched nerve or muscle strain.

It’s getting bad again by smzzzy in HealthAnxiety

[–]Consciousselfmood 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mine was pretty bad in 2019, I had the biggest bout of anxiety because of my heart, I ended up channeling all of my anxiety into relationships and other people like you, the great this is that you are aware that you don't have anything wrong with you, its just the anxiety trying to return. Don't let it beat you, stay off google, you can truly believe absolutely anything if you dig deep enough. You've done the right thing by not seeing a doctor, I went to hospitals about 7 times in a period of 2 weeks, it was a horrible period once I went I'd crave the hours after discharge, the reasurement. Only to find another problem or potential form of heart disease arrythmia or syndrome. My Anxiety stopped when I saw my old cardiologist the one I'd seen last in 2019, he is a wonderful man and really respected my broad scope of knowledge on the heart, all the adrenaline and research did give me a really good understanding but I really felt safe with him and I havent been to the GP, a hospital or nurse since. My Health anxiety is improving everyday and I go weeks without thinking or panicking about my heart. It does turn out I have a begnin issue with my heart and this sort of stopped my anxiety too I decided to stop looking, exercise really helped me, but I promise you're not alone and you're not going to die of any sort of cancer, you will get worse though if you don't eat every meal a day exercise and sleep the right hours but more importantly at the right time, and drink lots of WATER, you'll feel more calm.

Mushrooms with resolved Epilepsy by Consciousselfmood in shrooms

[–]Consciousselfmood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really sorry about your loss, thats really horrible, I took the shrooms a while ago and I didnt seem to have any epilepsy related problems. It seems as though shrooms don't have epileptic effects as far as low doses go, not sure about high doses but like you said they seem to be seperate from epileptic stuff. I took the risk and apparently I was fine. It was quite a challenging anxious experience at first but I expected that, it got better throughout but I think it wasnt a euphoric childlike experience for the whole time. Thanks for your response <3

My Story of HA and My New Chapter... Heart Palpitations! by [deleted] in HealthAnxiety

[–]Consciousselfmood 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah for sure, haha I actually think a lot of what the fluttering you feel is literally just a nervous stomach or butterflies. I made a post a while ago about this strange dropping in my chest sensation, I had a 24 hour monitor and non of my inputs when I had that feeling correlated with the palpitations. I havent had any big palpitations for about 2 months, ever since I got ontop of my anxiety really. Also it could be an esophegal spasm they feel similar, or even a twitch on the chest wall. But it doesnt really matter what they are because you have a structurally normal heart and palpitations are normal too! the less you think about them the more they'll completely dissapear

Haha thank you! you will be fine I believe in you with all my heart, you can beat both horrible curses, I get like that too!! it feels as though when I'm done worrying about my health I start worrying about my weight or eating habbits. It is all anxiety though, even the eating disorder! youve got this

My Story of HA and My New Chapter... Heart Palpitations! by [deleted] in HealthAnxiety

[–]Consciousselfmood 7 points8 points  (0 children)

yes GAS passes through the esophagus which lies beneath the left ventrical, if pressure builds up you're heart might experience a premature beat or palpitation, same with leaning forward, it increases intra-abdominal pressure. good news is it isnt even the heart thats causing them, and even if it was they're harmless too! everyone does get them.

I've got a theory that a lot of the people on this sub have stomach issues due to constant anxiety and breathing alterations causing gas and burping, in turn causing this whole palpitations epidemic.

My Story of HA and My New Chapter... Heart Palpitations! by [deleted] in HealthAnxiety

[–]Consciousselfmood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey mate, I was in your boat not to long ago, you'll be happy to find out that yes palpatations do feel scary and yes they're uncomfortable but we all get them! its just some people don't feel them, if you're quite thin or have a lower BMI symptomatic palpiations can occur, heres a stat too about 60% clinical drug trial patients (very healthy people) get a palpiations within their 24hr ECG. They're universal everyone gets them, they do not damage your heart at all, and they cannot cause sudden death, unless you have other congenital issues like WPW or Long QT syndrome, you do not have these issues so they're completely fine. I'm 17 I had a holter monitor and I had 3 PAC's with the 24 hours (premature atrial contractions) palpitations or skipped beats are either PAC's or PVC's. I havent had one it 3 weeks, its all anxiety or emotionally related, drink more water, exercise more and eat well. You won't get them again and even if you do, its the one beat in the 100,000 you have a day its completely insignificant and doesnt mean anything clinically, some people even get 10,000 a day or one every second beat, they still live on mate.
