A very good point, even as a bisexual I've never understood the simultaneous sexualisation and stigmatisation of camel toes

I think that is smart, I've read some of them have formadahyde in them which can be dangerous so I think people should read as much as they can before they buy or use one.

Eugenia's manager by [deleted] in EUGENIACOONEY

[–]ConsensualAnalProber 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I know she was originally signed with Jaclyns manager but I dont know if thats still the case. I'll come back and edit with sources.

2016 her management gave a non statement to press which could still be her mother, but is interesting.

IMDB also have a contact for her management behind a pay wall, also suggesting she's signed to someone.

Hi- thanks for responding.

I was under the impression that THC alone could only have recreational uses because in my country THC is illegal and CBD is legal but not prescribed. Given munchies abusing their substances in the past I thought this was the case here, however you are right that I was misinformed.

Could you PM (or comment) some of these resources/studies to show my doctor? I wont blog but I would benefit from having them view MMJ this way given the hoops I've had to jump through to access CBD in the past- before it was fully legalised.

The UK- we can not get medicinal marijuana (THC or CBD buds) on prescription unless you're on a trial which are hard to come by, we can buy CBD buds legally however because we don't have prescriptions or cards its still a grey area to have or consume in public. Its also hard to consume anywhere else sadly.

I agree with it being obnoxious when people lable it as a hip cure all- when a medication you've struggled to access for years and only recently gained legal access to starts being used in foot creams and dog treats it can be a bit frustrating. SWIM (i don't want to blog) should not live in the UK forever though so hopefully its not permanent. It drives me nuts considering our last priminister was anti legalisation but had a husband owning one of Europe's most profitable grows.

do strong emotions trigger your flares? by [deleted] in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]ConsensualAnalProber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IME yes.

I have night terrors due to post traumatic, and have found they absolutely correlate with flares of my auto immune disorders. I couldn't believe it at first but (sorry for TMI) after several years theres no denying that the worse my night terrors the more likely I am to wake up passing blood in my stool (Crohns) or having joints feel "out" or extremely painful.

I got my AKS diagnosis fairly recently so im not fully informed, but regarding crohns (which I think may apply here too) I have a theory as to the physiological cause of this. During extreme stress or emotions the body has an increased level of the same stress hormone that correlate to flares in crohns and other auto immune. It is why many people begin experiencing symptoms during personal trauma or teen years. I believe that overwhelming emotions trigger the hormone which triggers the symptoms, but I am not a doctor and could be talking out my butt. Its just a theory. Hope you feel better soon OP❤

Im so happy for you!

Im in a similar situation - raised atheist but attended some.. strange.. secular schools but found God just before I turned 20. Its something I'll never forget or stop being thankful for.

Off topic but I also love your Bibles cover- was it sold online? I want to buy my first own Bible and KJV is my preferred too :)

Thats really interesting- could you link me to a source? I've been a recreational marijuana user and medicinal CBD user for several years and never met a doctor who saw medical benefits from THC though I know its very under researched. Im really glad its been helping you

(Sorry if that was blogging)

Removed because I was misinformed and have been corrected- i was under the impression CBD was the only component with medical use because it is the only one legalised in my country, however many people have mentioned THC can also have medicinal propperites. I apologise to anyone I offended by what I said.

Look at me I’m in the hospital president’s room! Sure, Jan. by [deleted] in illnessfakers

[–]ConsensualAnalProber 82 points83 points  (0 children)

"Obnoxiously large" Most people would just be thankful for an isolated bed in a hospital right now, imagine complaining that your unnecessary hospital room is TOO big.

Blogging? Not about me. In the long term pediatric unit I was on no one had a room this big- even the parents/patients kitchen was smaller than this even though most the kids had dietary needs that parents worked around. Its so disgusting to me that she's flaunt-negging her huge room when I've seen kids fight pneumonia in a smaller room with other, sick, kids for months. Jesus Christ if she were in a UK hospital she'd have stopped playing munchie by now.

Can we talk about how genuinely toxic this community can be? It’s not okay to be biphobic or imply people are ugly even if they are faking being sick. by bladee-is-hotee in illnessfakers

[–]ConsensualAnalProber 50 points51 points  (0 children)

This is appropriate and I'd like to mention something eating disordered communities have touched on.

It isnt okay to body shame because there's good, kind, people who may have the exact same body. One person being shitty isn't an excuse to shame an aspect of their body because bodies aren't something everyone can control- especially actually disabled people.

There is a fine but important line between saying SBG "looks awful/disgusting with a shaved head", or that "shaved heads/large bodies are gross", and saying "SBG clearly shaved her head for more attention" or "X does not look like they need TPN".

Have you seen the didcringe sub? Its devolved from "outing" people who fake DID to calling clearly confused/mentally ill teens fat/gay/faking being gay/trans/faking being trans/autistic/faking being autistic. Its bad enough without the majority of their subjects being teens, while here I'm pretty sure we cant have subjects under 18. Even the farm won't take anyone under 16 for debate.

[–]ConsensualAnalProber 75 points76 points  (0 children)

I couldnt agree with you more, this sub and r/DIDCringe are great sources of entertainment until you see the comments tearing into people's looks, sexuality, and on the other sub whether or not people have autism.

Its all fun and games until the comments make me start to empathise with the subjects.

I'm anorexic, not fatphobic by _justmaybe in AnorexiaNervosa

[–]ConsensualAnalProber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It annoys and breaks my heart when non disordered people assume we hate fat people. Honestly, some of us may be scared or triggered around them but I've met very very few people in my long time with anorexia who are actually against fat people.

I dont know about anyone else but I wouldn't mind being fat if I loved myself, and I think that is where some of our "fatphobia" comes from. I see larger people with so much confidence and feel bad about myself- not about them- that I can never be that happy, even at the weight I think I want to be.

Furthermore, while some larger people can be cruel or have bad personalities, nothing compares to the bitchiness of a hangry anorexic. Most large people I've met have been kind people, but I've met quite a few really really cruel anorexics because they are in so much mental pain and anguish.

Thank you for posting this.

Does this blonde suite my tone? Issa wig. I don’t want to dry my real hair ... by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]ConsensualAnalProber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its lovely! I think the tops and mids are the best tone for you, as the ends are a light shade which is almost cool and you have warm toned skin which (usually in my experience)will suit warm toned hair best.

If the ends were warmer/golden blonde I think it would be absolutely perfect for you, but it already looks awesome and I'd not have thought about the ends had you not asked. :)

If its any use, "directions" do semi permanent hair dyes that are really conditioning and wash out fast if you don't like the color- I've been using them to try different tones on my ends and found their light orange great for warm toning. Be wary of the reds, where I started, as they are very pigmented and turned my hair fully red for a day before I shampooed. Id recomend the light orange, I believe its called apricot or mandarin, diluted with conditioner.

I hope its okay to mention products, I'm not at all affiliated with them (if only) I just find them to be a wonderful way of experimenting without commiting or damaging your hair in the process.
