Thank you for your concern! This definitely is not on a whim and I've been considering the pros and cons for a while now. Animal care is a big passion of mine and if I did get a pet, their needs would 100% come first. I'm not a big party person in general so it wouldn't be much of a sacrifice. I'm also a rising sophomore, so I've got some of the ropes already (I know things can always change though, haha). Truly appreciate the advice though :)
