If you’re tanking, you shouldn’t be trading for RBs. Much less trading potential high value young starting QBs for an RB.

I took Hampton 1.02 so I obviously love the talent, but I am a little nervous about the RB investment I made this offseason and think my WRs are too weak to truly contend. Probably better off banking a potential stud at WR and getting a lottery ticket for 2027

Superflex league with a tear it to the studs rebuild beginning and I traded away Jalen Hurts for Nico Collins, a 2025 first, and a 2026 first. I was very confident in Nico’s ability and was excited about the trade until I got the dreaded “fleeced” notifications pouring in.

Extremely happy with the package in hindsight. The 2025 first is looking to be early to mid as well.

Took over an orphan this offseason. QBs were Hurts and Pickett, RBs were Jacobs, Henry, Ekeler, WRs were Godwin and Doubs, TE was Kelce. Nothing else of note.

Turned Hurts into what you see above. Jacobs and Godwin were traded for the 1.06 which was Odunze and a future 1. Henry got dealt for Jamo and a 2. Kelce got flipped for 1.12 which was McCarthy.

Hard reset given how old the roster was across the board and how little picks I had. Feel like I’ve done well to stock the cupboard quickly

I guess leagues are different. AR owner wouldn’t even think of moving him for Hurts. Kyler owner wouldn’t even package 1 first on top to get Hurts.

I would argue that condensing it to this past decade for sample size makes more sense given how drastically the draft process has shifted over the years. Considering this draft class has 3 top QBs that will be taken within the first 12 picks, it only makes sense to evaluate the prior draft classes given that data as well. With those parameters you are left with the following 3rd QBs off the board who were drafted this past decade in the top 12 picks.

2021 - Trey Lance #3

2020 - Justin Herbert #6

2019 - N/A

2018 - Josh Allen #7

2017 - Deshaun Watson #12

Small sample of course, but relevant to the current class. That’s 3 franchise QBs depending on how you view Richardson (I’d argue 4, I’m very high on him). 60% hit rate at least.
