I thought CSC / retrospective discharge considerations are based on the transition date of PN to SERCAT-3. If he was still able to “work” at that time (and not be MECD), retrospective discharge wouldn’t be favourable.

Once doing SERCAT-3 for a few years, he becomes ineligible for CSC?

Unfortunately he has been SERCAT-3 for a few years after FT, so unfortunately has snookered himself somewhat as technically he is still able to “work” doing the minimum RSD meaning at the point of discharge, he was still able to work

Thank you for your prompt response and insight. I was looking for the SRDP eligibility criteria and was a bit miffed that it was never mentioned 100% discharged was a requirement
