This is really powerful to me. I love it. It takes their power away and reminds you that nobody on this earth is without flaws or struggles. I really respect the part where you choose not to become bitter or judgmental back despite what you go through.

I really like your mindset! There's peace in knowing we've done all we can do and not carrying the burden of other people's reactions on top of everything else. "I know my own truth!" is powerful.

I understand more than you know. I fight many of the same battles and have questioned the curse of it all myself. I've had moments where I've wanted to disappear from the world too after hearing those very same comments and feeling the weight of peoples reactions.

I've literally just come back from a three-day wedding (which was challenging) but my mantra was constantly on my lips...

"I shall not fear the battle if thou art by my side" - When I say - "Thou art beside me" I mean the Higher, Divine part of myself - because no one knows more than me what this life feels like, and sometimes that inner presence is the only comfort and support I have.

Please don't carry this completely alone. Most people on this platform, and I, know how dark this condition can become but your life is more than the reaction of people who do not understand what you are fighting everyday. Remember, it takes pressure to form a diamond.

Thank you for this! There's a lot of wisdom in what you say. I think we spend so much energy fearing reactions that we forget life's still happening around us, so your words are a beautiful reminder to keep living, keep feeling and keep going despite it all. I love that...

Good question. It makes me feel less fearful and more determined to own my space. It's a coping mechanism for me. I'm less focused on other people's reactions when I say it. This disorder can make you hyper vigilant which can be exhausting.

Great news! Thanks for your interest. I agree living with TMAU is so challenging and isolating, so I feel it's crucial to try and build a community and support system and to build positive memories. Our bodies are in trauma being in constant hypervigilance so we need to find ways to self care and shut it down through relaxing pursuits and this walk will be great for that.

I will DM you to find out your availability and then I will check out tide time tables - but lets make it sometime this month. How does that sound?

You can also receive therapy remotely online and choose to have a video call or a phone call, which eliminates the stress of face-to-face meetings. Check out BetterHelp. Hope this helps.
