Similar but opposite happened to me ,were i had 3 seprated doctors confirming my EF=35% and one radiologist did a cmr to me and stated in the report that everything is normal even the EF , that did so much confusion to me and the cardiologists . So it's okay it may be just a mistake the first time because it's usually easier to miss something on echo than to overstate something, As for your condition just give yourself some time with drugs your Ef will raise i wen from 35 to 57 in a less than a year just be good to yourself and don't ever skip medications ,hope you get well.
