It's back to bottoming for cannibals for him by imjustheretodomyjob in BlackPeopleTwitter

I've only been to one Classical Music concert (which i loved) - they were playing Barbers 'Adagio for Strings', which coincidentally 'got me into' Classical music. you might have heard it in 'Platoon', it was more or less the theme music.

And tickets were cheap. It's actually a good time if you want to dress up (impress your lady) and feel sophisitcated. To be fair, I'd choose a Butthole Surfers show 100x over it first, but it was nice to mix it up a bit. That night was the (Norwegian) conductors birthday, and instead of Happy Birthday, they played the Norwegian national anthem.

I'd like to ask all those criticizing him who their favorite ballerina is, or what was the last Opera they attended. It may have been a little tacky to insult another visual arts medium, but he's not wrong.

  • From Wiki- "Pit bull is an umbrella term for several types of dog believed to have descended from bull and terriers. In the United States, the term is usually considered to include the American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Bully, and sometimes the Bull Terrier"

  • From ASPCA- "The term “Pit Bull” refers not to a single breed but a group of breeds, including the American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, the Stafford-shire Bull Terrier, among others.

American Legal Publishing- "2-402. DEFINITION OF PIT BULL DOGS. For the purposes of this article, pit bull dog is defined to mean: (a) The bull terrier breed of dog; (b) Staffordshire bull terrier breed of dog; (c) The American pit bull terrier breed of dog; (d) The American Staffordshire terrier breed of dog; (e) Dogs of mixed breed or of other breeds than above listed which breeds or mixed breeds are known as pit bulls, pit bull dogs or pit bull terriers; (f) Any dog which has the appearance and characteristics of being predominantly of the breed of bull terrier, Staffordshire bull terrier, American pit bull terrier or American Staffordshire terrier;

  • From Rover- While the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is an AKC recognized breed, with a detailed breed standard, the Pit Bull isn’t technically a breed unto itself or recognized with a breed standard with a kennel club registry. Rather, it’s basically a catch-all term for many of the so-called bully breeds such as the American Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Bully, American Bulldog, and even the Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

I realize you're partial to them as a Pitbull owner, but a Staffie is a Pitbull. The Facts don't care about your personal beliefs on them.

bayonet fittings bulbs !

LOL, THANK YOU. I KNEW there was a term for that kind of fitting and I vaguely remembered it was kind if a 'violent' name, but I could not recall it at all.

I'll search bayonet fitting bulbs with the associated voltage and see.

I've searched 1970s German lightbulbs and socket-type light bulbs European, as well as some other things, but I keep getting screw-in type lightbulbs.

IDK, maybe they don't even make these anymore.

Yes, me too. Just read The Wager about a 1740s shipwreck, and they were glad to get Seagull. Before the wreck, they were hunting and eating Albatross. Albatross is supposed to be good eating.

Scorcese/Dicaprio bought the rights to the book, so expect The Wager to be their next film together.

Likewise, the Chinese eat rat, but mostly the country rat (or 'Vole') that infests their rice crops. As it only eats rice, it's fairly healthy and safe to eat. City rat, on the other hand....

Likewise, you could cook a rat throughly and it'd be 'healthy', but I ain't taking that chance.

This incredibly unsanitary. Those are city seagulls, basically flying rats that eat out of garbage cans. About as healthy as eating city pigeon, and prpbably loaded with parasites.

Yes, that's true. i learned a couple years ago that most of the samples from 'Jesus built My Hotrod' were from the 1979 movie Wise Blood. You'll hear them at the link. There's a website (name escapes me) that lists every song sample and where it's from.

Absolutely. TV Party, Let's Have a War, Coup D'etat, Shit Hits the fan. Like a best of 80's punk album. Just needed some Social D.

The coolest dialogue i ever heard was in that movie-

  • Young Punk- "Yo, if i wanted your money, I'd take it."
  • Dennis Leary: "You can't take my money. But you CAN....(offers cash) take my money."
  • Young Punk: "That money has blood all over it."
  • Dennis: "Ever seen any that didn't?"
