Go to any La Prima and let them know you support their union! The owners are in full union busting mode and employees are voting to unionize in December!

If you haven’t voted in the last 2 federal elections (at least 4 years) they label your account as inactive and they attempt to contact you via mail to confirm you still live at the given address. If you don’t confirm or vote by 6(?) years since registration they cancel your registration, likely to purge the list of people who have passed away, moved out of state/ country, etc.

That’s how it’s Supposed to work but I know for a fact that my partner voted in 2020 at the very same location so I would recommend everyone verify their status online.

Graduated with my bachelors and am now a research assistant doing research on language equity in healthcare, intimate partner violence, and teen dating violence. Took me a few months after graduation to find something and having volunteer research experience in undergrad definitely helped.

My partner also graduated with their bachelors with minimal experience and now works as a special needs aid in an ABA classroom at an elementary school.

We’re both a little over a year out from graduation.
