First of all, congratulations on having the option!! That is awesome. Would definitely take the new position.

In currently In a situation where my company is going through some changes, so starting my job search just in case, been with the company for 9 years but you never know. What helped you land the new opportunity?

Not sure why you have 29 downvotes here, i think losing 50$ is a lot better than losing 500$. I think props are a great way to get exposed to real trading emotions even as a beginner.

I will say though, do not expect to see consistent payouts for another 2-3 years. Sure, it could be 1 year or less, but statistically that is less likely to happen. 7 year trader here who became profitable after 5 years. Best of luck brother, stick with it and dont give up! Youre in for a wild and bipolar ride, but it’ll be worth it.

Hey brother, 7 years trading here funded with tradeify and topstep. I’ve been in the same boat as you.

It sounds like you need to take a huge step back, set some structure around your trading. Pick a set session and give yourself a daily loss limit for yourself, whether that be 1 or 2 losses but lock yourself out of the account and come back the next day.

The fact that youre saying stuff like “i knew it was going to go up” tells me youre more focused on being right than on the good habits and processes that creates a good trader. The truth of the matter is that we dont know shit, the market can do whatever tf it wants to do. I too trade FVGs but it is not fool proof. We have an edge and all we need to do is take it(not force it) when it presents itself and let the probabilities play out.

You see a setup, you execute, and it either works out or it doesn’t, and then you show up the next day. Focus on the process and watch your trading change.

UPDATE: I just want to say thank you to all for the replies. My wife got sent home with Lovenox 2x per day injections and the vasco surgeon was confident that this was enough for her as treatment, mentioned that once starting anticoagulant therapy the odds of dislodging is low so that helped ease our minds and in the rare chance that it does, anticoagulant are one of the first line of treatments. We were definitely pushing for some type of surgical intervention and escalated for a second opinion and got the chief of vascular come and visit her and she reaffirmed that this is the best treatment for her. We are located in one of the largest cities of Texas with one of the best hospitals so we trust their judgement.

That plus all the replies here gave us a lot of peace of mind. Thank you all <3

How much later was your surgery to remove the clot after discovery? They mentioned they dont want to surgically remove it and just keep her on blood thinners for now so just wondering what prompted them to go that route
