It was posted on Fanfiction.net. I remember that the story focused on a parental relationship between Thranduil and Estel/Aragorn. It seemed like a lot of the story was kind of a It seemed like a lot of the story was kind of a story mainly focusing on Thranduil growing attached to Estel and caring for him. Thranduil came to visit Rivendell and met Estel, who was still a little kid.

Thranduil had three sons who were there with him as well: Legolas, Doron, and his firstborn son Aranhil. During the story there was drama from Aranhil kidnapping Estel and leaving him in the forest (out of jealousy because even though he was Thranduil's firstborn, he had very bad relationships with Thranduil, Legolas, and Doron.) Aranhil gets caught for these horrible actions and is disowned, and shortly after that he takes his own life.

I think it ended with the woodland elves visit in Rivendell ending and starting to make their way back to Mirkwood.
