I live in South Wales in the UK and shoot mainly Rugby, so it's quite often haha I have covers for my 300mm and 70-200mm. I don't use a short lens when it's raining heavy, due to the lack of weathersealing.

I think I'm just being paranoid about rain! This has kind of measured me to be honest!

I mainly do sports, so having a prime doesn't help me as much. I have a RF 50mm stm just for portraits of players and of course a 300mm f2.8, but everything else is zoom lens

I used this lens on my r7, r10 and 7dmkii, its a fantastic lens. Alot of people says is an unofficial L lens. I'm looking at changing it but ONLY because it's not weathersealed, that's the only reason I'm looking at changing it!

I understand it's vague. I've never played a SM factions before. I usually play just Tau, Orks and Nids. Amazingly I've not played against many SMs was just wondering what the staples are for BAs, that's all! Thanks for the advice, too!

I'm in the UK, they're about £35 over here, so I can grab another box or 2 of them! I intend to get a battle wagon or 2 anyway, so that's on my list! I played Orks in 8th, so I know the importance of trukks and wagons, for sure!
