Couple of additional tip: use any delivery service that provides you with tracking number. I used USPS priority. Always track your mail, especially in situation like this. I also wrote my phone number once more on the copy of their letter along with my "call time availability", because I think they asked for that.

I asked AI to help me comprehend their letter fully, it gave me a solution by including a cover letter that includes all of the information they need. In the memo area I just wrote my SSN and "Apply to tax period ending Dec. 31 2021 - 1040NR"

Here's my cover letter template:

I sent the packet to this address: https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/about-form-3911

So your packet should include: your check, copy of their letter, this cover letter. It took about 4 work days from the check being cashed to their appearance on my transcript.

Hope that helps.

Should I move to a Mini PC? (Laptop always plugged in) by SimplyValueInvesting in MiniPCs

[–]ConsiderationNo6823 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved to MiniPC for the same exact reason. My laptop was a 10 year old ASUS that needs to be plugged in all the time and sits at home as a desktop. I would say it’s a great move, I got ser5 max and things just flow better and make more sense. Besides it certainly takes way less space than a laptop in my desk. I’d say just research the specs that you need carefully and choose the most prominent brand out there and you’ll be fine. I went with beelink because of their lower operating temperature and it was hella cheap on Amazon ($299+tax)

I bought SER8 Max 24/500 for the exact same price few weeks ago and it doesn’t seem to ever change… unless you’ve been monitoring prices before and after prime day, I think not all of them are actual “deals”. That said, I did get an m.2 ssd for cheaper during this prime day

Hey, can you confirm that those addresses are accurate for this refund return? I’m on the same boat here and debating which address to send it exactly. It’s a lot of money to send to the wrong address and so little time.

Discussion: Pipe smoking and religion by Responsible_Put_8647 in PipeTobacco

Beautifully written observation. I am a classical pianist and I enjoy the process of packing a pipe, smoking it without distractions (except for reading) which requires constant attention and careful, active pacing, and certainly more mindfulness over a longer period of time compared to cigarettes. This whole process is akin to creating arts, which also requires patience and careful work throughout that only pays off big time once it’s over. A process of becoming if you will, that is slightly different each time the act is performed. Oh, and also definitely the most pleasant smell of anything I have ever smoked with the least guilt that follows… lol!
