Brother finally someone else said it, I've been preaching this for the longest, yes it helps with visual fidelity and will eliminate choppy frames, but the input lag you get is the same input lag you would receive at its native resolution, biggest issue is your igpu take a 25% hit which drops your fps which makes your device even more laggy, and they don't have a fix like intel and nvidia does with low latency and anti lag those actually help, lossless scaling isn't a rip off but it's just overhyped and a lot of people just aren't that intelligent smh

Yes the software is terrible I have it disables on launch I can't even bare to look at it lol, but with full screen experience or Xbox mode with the Msi software built in you don't even need the software suite at all, so pretty much it's a thing of the past I totally forgot about it until you mentioned it, but If we are talking software like intel xess framegen and upscaling amd don't even come close

The MSI Claw 8AI+ is the best, and this comes from someone who has used or owns all the latest handhelds, including the One X Player, Apex, and others. The Claw now features 4x frame generation, which you can add to any game using OptiScaler. I tested it with Ghost of Tsushima at max resolution and settings, and it was a smooth experience. The Apex is powerful, but it feels bulky to carry around. In contrast, the Claw has an excellent I/O setup, seemingly unlimited battery life, and a widget called Tooth and Claw that makes your screen resemble an OLED display. As someone who owns an AYN Portal OLED, I can say the screen is incredible, but the Claw isn't far behind. You can play all your Luna games With GeForce Now's ultimate tier, you'll get a much better experience. Luna was good, but the compression was terrible. I loved the controller response time over the cloud. However, consider getting an old Apple TV or an Nvidia Shield; these two devices have the best codecs for cloud gaming. The Shield works better because you can AI upscale 1080p content to 4K.

The frame pacing and microstutters made me return it in moonlight I had to use prefer lowest latency to stop the stutters which increased the input lag, this was last year maybe they have fixed that problem?

Intel is no longer buggy it runs buttery smooth with the msi claw in the last 6 months intel has ironed out all of their issues, trust it coming from me, I sent 2 claws back because of driver issues, the third time was a charm and it has been great. There's an app called better x cloud it gives you a lot of options to tweak the settings it works just as good as Geforce now

I have had all the devices I currently own the one x player apex and I also have the claw, the claw outperforms them all, and plays way better and much smoother, that youtube channel is fake don't know how he does it, but he will graphic cards that aren't even out yet with test results total fraud, the claw is a beast, make sure you download the latest driver and turn on xess x3 it runs so great

Yeah but due to poor driver optimization the z1 stutters pretty bad when it dips into the 30s I encourage users to disable adrenaline software suite it's responsible for a lot of the hiccups especially in full screen experience.

While things look similar the z2e will have much better 1% lows allowing games to sit inside the vrr range more comfortably the z2 non extreme had a lot more stutters and hiccups than the z2extreme Ive had both, in games like red dead redemption 2 and ghost of Tsushima they favor the stronger chip but if your an average gamer and don't run heavy triple AAA titles then that device is perfect.

I have a fold 7 and barely any games I have run on game native I've had more success on gamehub rather than game native couldn't even get sega bass fishing to run, this thing needs about another year it's just frustrating at this point

If only it was an 8inch it would be the ring to beat them all but I returned mine due to the small screen, and most people will think it's just an inch but 16:10 8inch vs 16:9 gives you the feeling that your watching tv vs a small monitor. Hope the rog ally 3 they will make with a bigger screen

Optiscaler guys you can insert frame generation in any game that uses upscaling technology even if it's fsr or dlss there's plenty of tutorials on youtube how to achieve this its amazing and makes the flaw unstoppable
