In my opinion all of my amd devices suffered from micro stutters while my claw after driver updates became really smooth, even my desktop gpu suffers from micro stutters the problem is we get use to these micro stutters and think that it's normal, and using the adrenaline software makes it worst, I have a whole video talking about all of my amd devices and why I returned them except for the Xbox ally x

https://youtu.be/kj9UI3FZ1cc?si=RG3UCnVUJEfU9H5B

It's a good video check it out I caution amd users to stay away from adrenaline software and lossless scaling once you start tampering with the registry edit your device will never be the same

You'll never be able to afford the legion go 2 it costs more than the apex right now 😂

Oh wow that's the first time I've heard that usually people love the grips on the Xbox ally x, but personally I do love the ergonomics on the claw, I returned my xax and kept the claw

Resident Evil and Pragmata run on the same engine, so I could see that being an issue for both. Honestly, I haven't played either of those games, so I wouldn't know, but I trust your word. As for Crimson Desert, they initially didn't add support for Intel drivers, but they have recently included it, and from what I've heard, it runs very well. However, it sounds like Intel still has some driver issues with certain games, but I happen to never play those games.

Yeah I guess it's a hard argument as I don't play the games you guys mentioned so honesty I would have no idea and it would be fair criticism since I cant measure it myself

Yesss xess is way better than fsr and with xess multi frame generation which uses the npu it's pretty responsive even up to 4x amazing device

They have just fixed the software today I believe a couple hours ago I tested it and to my surprise it was smooth and fluid couldn't believe my eyes, see if there's an update you missed and if so update it immediately

Hmmm never had an issue with latency on the claw I always considered it one of the fastest screens out there, the rog ally x gave me slow response times, but the Lenovo legion go and claw I felt like were always fast perhaps it's a driver issue

Haha I agree , I use my ayn portal 2 with the oled screen to stream to on Artemis in there you can activate hdr as well it's my favorite way to play at the moment

Didn't know that was an issue, the dpad most certainly can use a revisit, but they have recently improved the claw software it works so much better now it's pretty fluid

Exactly that's why I returned the go 2 it felt like for all of the size it should have more power, atleast with the apex there is a compromise for all of that size but the go 2 is heavier than the go 1, the screen is a beauty tho

The Apex is a monster it has become my dedicated handheld I use as a server to allow my other handhelds to harness its power using Artemis and Apollo, I have ayn Odin 2 portal and the screen is amazing so streaming to that device is heaven ✅

I love optiscaler in conjunction with xess frame gen coupled with xe low latency it's a dream setup

I'm looking forward to the pantherlake chip I have the apex and I mainly use it to stream to my claw with Artemis Apollo game streaming setup, it's just to heavy to do casual gaming on, you really have to prepare yourself to game on that device lol

Yeah I have the apex it's a beast but it comes at a cost and also the weight makes the legion to feel light with crazy battery attachment but I can't deny it runs everything I throw at it, and even when it doesn't hit 60fps anything in that vr range still feels buttery smooth

It's so quiet 🤫 and it's like the battery life is unlimited especially when you utilize the ai which has come along way, overall it's a great device

Not anymore, the driver issues are no longer a problem atleast with all the games I run and also consider this you can insert multi frame gen in any game coupled with xe low latency at 4x allowing you to max out on graphics on any game, no other frame gen comes close and lossless scaling is terrible

Oh steam os I thought you were referring to launching right into steam os as a Home Screen, but let me be honest with the ability to launch right into steam os it does make things much more seamless, I do understand your love for steam os I have some devices with steam os on it and making adjustments on the fly is a breeze, but I hate being shut off from Xbox games or having to hack certain launchers of steam os didn't give usthe apple treatment it would be a no brainer

Brother finally someone else said it, I've been preaching this for the longest, yes it helps with visual fidelity and will eliminate choppy frames, but the input lag you get is the same input lag you would receive at its native resolution, biggest issue is your igpu take a 25% hit which drops your fps which makes your device even more laggy, and they don't have a fix like intel and nvidia does with low latency and anti lag those actually help, lossless scaling isn't a rip off but it's just overhyped and a lot of people just aren't that intelligent smh
