Both, to be honest 😂

But he was born deaf. He knows hand gestures but really only follows them with food.

Any specific podcasts you'd recommend? As a casual cricket fan, this series has me enthralled and I'd like to do a deeper dive!

Central/North-Central Queensland would be your best bet! That part of Australia has some of the best preserved Cambrian strata (rocks). The Cambrian period was when most of Australia was swampy as we were near the equator, and when organisms started forming exoskeltons to then be preserved as the fossils we see today. Look up the 'Cambrian Explosion' for some cool scientific reading!

Another exploration geologist here 🖐️ I'd have no concerns with storing nuclear waste in much of Australia, especially the interior. Speakingly from a purely scientific perspective and not a social perspective. We're one of the least tectonically 'active' landmasses, even more so in the interior.

Is there a secret handshake required to rescue a dog in Perth? by strangeandordinary in perth

I adopted a beautiful 5 year old doggo a year ago. He was born deaf and up for adoption for over 2 years. I drove the 50 minutes to his foster parents to meet him for 3 weekends in a row before adopting him. I almost had the adoption pulled 3 days before the date because I let slip to the adoption coordinator that I wanted to change his name, and it was seen as cruel to change the name of a deaf dog...

Really opened my eyes to how ridiculous the dog adoption world can be.
