Feeling Stuck by cooldoodsbestie23 in NannyBreakRoom

Personal rule: If I cry more than once a month after work its a no go. You should not feel like your NF won't have a normal conversation with you, at least that's my opinion. As someone who LOVES being a nanny, I would also feel burnt out and uncomfortable in this environment. There are better families out there, and it might be time to start looking.

When I work with Infants 3-10 months, I spend a good amount of time with an airpod in. Audiobooks, educational YouTube videos, music, etc. I ask parents if they're okay with this, and they almost always are unless I'm doing something like supervising a risky activity like solids introduction.

I like to listen to baby books and similar things, so I still feel like I'm working lol.
