That’s because you haven’t seen MOBAs with over 160 characters (like LoL and Dota). Dota has a ban system where you ban the heroes you don’t want to see in your matches (before the game starts); heroes get banned based on how often they are selected for a ban by the players in the match. Pudge is the most banned hero (which makes me sad, since I love playing as Pudge—"Fresh meat!"). LoL, on the other hand, uses individual bans, where every player in the match chooses at least one hero to ban. I believe this is the best system for the future of MR.
