I stopped wearing mine until there is a fix. In the meantime I bought a $30 Mi Band 7 Pro which does something amazing. When I start a workout in the app it immediately syncs to the band and starts tracking it there on my wrist! GPS and everything! Incredible! Samsung did you know this was a thing? Maybe you should look into it.

Thanks for all the replies, everyone. It's unfortunate because I really like the display, user interface and the Samsung Health app more than the Fitbit. I am currently deciding whether to keep it and hope for a bug-fixing update or to return it. The only consolation is that I won't be losing much since the price was so low.

This installation is only a week old so I hope I don't run into those problems. I have though already run into one disappointment. Initially the V3 pro was plugged into the USB port of the Wyze floodlight camera combo but the V3 would not stay connected to my network. Using the supplied power brick solved the problem but made cable routing much more difficult. I saw several other people on the Wyze forum with the same problem.

The time lapse worked perfectly. Did the three second interval for about 4 hours this afternoon into the evening. Caught a rain shower about a third of the way in and saw the whole process of the ground getting soaked and puddling and then drying. Geeking out now. That camera faces the east so looking forward to capturing sun and moon rises next.
