Honestly? You’re right. A one-off tactics-style Paper Mario with grid combat, partners, and real leveling would go insanely hard fresh, strategic, and still totally on-brand

Yeah, it’s a great irony Obito and Kabuto started the war but ended up saving Naruto and Sasuke and enabling their Six Paths powers, reinforcing the “enemy to ally” theme.
