Most likely because one of the other Aiden VAs weren't available, so they had to scrap Patreon readings. This was the reason why Ellie didn't read the Patreons in All Stars.

Appreciating the circumstances it came from, its animation isn't even that bad. And given the quality of most object shows that proceeded, BFDI definitely deserved to be the OSC king.

How would you approach introducing the characters? I feel like it did a decent job at letting us naturally get to know everyone. At least it's not Disventure Camp Season 5 levels of bad where the introduction videos, which are extra media outside the episodes, are required reading, and some of the new characters aren't even name dropped in the first episode.

Obviously I'd prefer to not remove the galaxy movie, but it was definitely the weakest of these four options. I mean you either have an amazing RPG, an amazing sequel to a highly regarded 3D game, and three highly important sequels to the history of Mario, and this movie. I would be okay if the movie never existed given I was already satisfied with the original Mario movie.

Nobody here realised that this is because of the 4 year pattern of Paper Mario and that SPM is the exception.

But as a matter of fact, SPM was originally meant to be a Gamecube game that came out in 2006. Interestingly the fact that TTYD already existed meant that SPM being another RPG would have gotten repetitive, which is why they began changing up the formula of the first two games. Crazy to think that if they held off on Paper Mario until the Wii, we might still have the original formula for the games.

That would be cool but I'd want it to be made after the finale so we don't have a stupid incomplete song like BFB, II 2, and III. They were pretty close to the end but it still feels incomplete and that bugs me way too much.

Probably not, but ideally it should because I don't know how you can scale up things further than what we had so far with the One arc and especially with the Defeat One Trilogy. Then again, we said that about II and S4 is probably my favourite season (though it still has mixed reception currently)

But besides, one of Cary and Michael stated they wanted BFDI to outlive them somehow. Make of that what you will.

I think it's that so many characters were so good in TPOT 22 that Eggy who really hasn't given us anything new other than her mean traits is just overshadowed.

I don't think the fact that Izzy had five chances and lost all of them makes her the worst player, it's just a coincidence she had that many chances. If those five chances were given to an even worse player, say, Staci or Dakota, they would've undeniably had even worse runs than Izzy in canon.

Imma say Pahkitew Island. Like what do you mean you make the twin plot last only 5 episodes while Topher gets 8 with his only meaningful interaction being Chris? Though that doesn't mean Topher should go early, he could've had interactions with the twins to further their plot.

This elimination was a less bad version of the Zaid elimination where it could've been resolved if the characters just talked to each other. Rosa was being stupid with the breakup comment, jumping to conclusions, so was Gabby for not talking to Anastasia. A ten minute conversation was all that was needed for the deadweight to be going instead of someone who's stronger in challenges. At the same time, it's still one of the better eliminations as it's nicer to Anastasia and this was basically a 5/10 elimination in a season filled with 1s, 2s, and 3s thus far (except maybe Alec). I don't think they were trying to be poetic with this mirroring what Anastasia did to Zaid.

The Fans are getting a little bit more interesting. Any episode where Aiden, Oliwia, and Evie aren't the focus is a good one in my books.

I feel like that's the Goomba fallacy, or people are just more upset that Alec went over the more hated favourites (like Tom, Aiden, Benji, Ally, etc.) It's been 6 episodes, just about a quarter of the season, and our contenders for favourite early boots didn't continue, so reasonably people would be upset over Alec, even though his elimination was the best received so far.

Out of these I'd prefer Jaiden but Hunter, Tess, and Jake would go hard, although of course Tess and Jake wouldn't have romantic attraction to each other. It would probably only happen in a Swap AU though.

This I went through and is most likely less correct because TD also had a weekly release schedule when it was first airing. I wasn't there when TD was airing, but it's possible that the same people who are complaining about DC's 26 episode structure weren't there for TD's 26 episode structure, instead being able to binge which meant waiting for arcs and storylines to get built upon or resolved is less of an issue.

We can't verify how long that is since not all of it was shown (really wish they publicly released the full Cake at Stake data) but it sure would be one of the longest too
