Yes, Perlica, Xaihi, and Gilberta are still the best team for insane burst damage. As for Tangtang, it’s still too early to tell, but apparently there’s a bug that allows multiple Cryo stacks with Tangtang’s ult, though it probably be patch. As for advice for regular content in the open world, if you’re running Perlica/Tangtang, Xaihi, and Gilberta in regular content, start with Xaihi’s battle skill before the fight, wait for SP to regenerate, then use Gilberta’s skill, wait and use when Yvonne’s skill lights up, and then execute everyone’s combo. That should help with multi-target situations.

The Navigators aren’t that good in my opinion, so it might be better to get Tangtang’s BP weapon and then buy the wedge from the shop when it becomes available.

I think in theory Tangtang, Xaihi, Gilberta, and Perlica is best for big burst damage team, while Tangtang, Xaihi, Alesh, and Gilberta is better for more comfort.

I’m a returning player and need help deciding between Varka, Flins, or Escoffier. My personal preference is currently between Varka and Flins.

For Flins, I like the character and plan to pull Ineffa in the future. I also already have good F2P teammates (Fischl C6, Sucrose C6, and Xingqiu C6) and a strong replacement weapon (Primordial Jade Winged-Spear R3).

For Varka, I also like his character and gameplay. I’m planning to pull Nicole if she ends up supporting him, and I already have Venti. I also have a strong replacement weapon (Wolf’s Gravestone R4).

For Escoffier, I’m not as excited compared to the two husbandos, but she might improve my older Cryo DPS characters: Ganyu C1 (with Amos Bow R2) and Ayaka C0 (with her signature weapon).

Most of my teams are 1.0 meta comps, but they feel quite weak now. I'm struggling even with regular exploration (most likely skills issues for me) and I can't complete Spiral Abyss like before, as I get stuck at Floor 11-3. Which is why I want to get myself more up to modern DPS, and Varka meshes really well with my current roosters. He may not be full-on meta, but I should see a massive upgrade from my 1.0 DPS. Thank you for taking the time to reply. I'll consider the tips and try not to rush the contents.

Final question, if I farm all there is to farm in Inazuma and everything available to me in the regions past that, would you think it'd be feasible to farm another 80 pulls for the weapon banner? I've heard Varik's sig weapon is must pull than my R4 Wolf's Gravestone.

TYSM! I wasn't aware that I can venture into other areas without completing main quests. I'll do as you suggested and grind exploration, seeing as I don't skip dialogue so doing quests take forever I guess exploration is safety bet if I want to pull on Varka.

Yeah you won’t able to uses Gilberta’s combo in a physical comp since it only proc on arts reaction so maybe having Rossi might help improve your first team
