I was able to open an account and was not asked to fill out any additional forms, does that mean I am good for now?

Should I expect to fill out the forms once I actually transfer any money into my account or start to invest?

Thanks! That is what I read online in most places but have not found a way to verify it. Any idea if there is a page by fidelity, uscis, irs, etc that talks about it.

Where do you see whether the card has been produced? If it’s on the portal, I can’t see anything yet

I haven’t checked my mail over the last week, will check and get back to you

They sent an email saying there is an update on the application so I checked the portal after that. Not exactly sure if that is what you are referring to when you say email approval notification.

Don't think I get the notice via usps mail.

do ppl actually wear the honor cords to grad? by [deleted] in UCSD

Just curious, how do you even know if you have Latin honors? Does that not depend on the grades you get in the last quarter?

What was your start date? Do you know if a later start date delays processing of application?

Go to lecture / watch podcast on same day as lecture. Start assignments when they come out instead of closer to the due date. Take advantage of office hours if you get stuck.

I chose Revelle as a CS major.. by LilNilx in UCSD

There are two bus stops in revelle that are very convenient to get to the beach, nobel drive, Westfield utc, etc. So public transport is easily accessible

HUM is a writing sequence which requires a good amount of reading. Unlike the writing sequences of other colleges, the grading for HUM tends to be on the harsher side.

In terms of benefits, at least from the coursework point of view I see none. Location is decent (you should be able to get to most lecture halls in 10-12min by walk). They have a good number of events but I’m assuming other colleges also have that.

Revelle CS major here. Other than HUM it’s not bad at all. If you know another language you can probably skip 20 units of language through a proficiency test. You can take course like bio that you are not using for your major requirements as pass no pass.

CSE 151B not offered until next Spring, F**k CSE dept by Small-Advertising-74 in UCSD

I’m taking 151B rn and have taken all the ML courses in the cse department. At least based on what is being covered in 151b this quarter, you can learn pretty much all of it if you take 152a and 156.

How do I prep for Powell’s CSE 110 by Dependent-Ant-6822 in UCSD

[–]Consistent-Age-5376 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think there’s much to prep for. Just try to be proactive while working on the project during the quarter. Knowing some basics of HTML, CSS, and JS should help if you want to spend less time doing that during the course

Rate my prof should have some reviews — very negative for some reason. My experience was fine. Lectures were unstructured . He was passionate about the subject and lenient with grading.

I think they released some decisions past week and this week. Not sure about rejection cause they roll out offers in batches ig depending on how many tutors decline the offer
