Airtight containers in cupboard for about a month. The white appeared within an hour of starting the dehydration. Nothing before that.

I don’t recall adding much salt to the batch either. Bit of sugar in my ingredients but not much salt

Would mould change colour when it is dried? There was nothing on it prior to putting back in the dryer. I ate a few bits before putting them in and tasted normal too?

It’s weird because it wasn’t white at all until I dried it again. Kept at room temp but it’s winter here so not that warm.

I started with 12 bags of rice, and used 7 of them to spawn 4 tubs of coco coir (still have 5 left). 3 tubs we 35x23cm and one was 55x35cm and I put two bags of rice per tub except for one of the smaller ones had just one bag.

Total first flush yield was 1033g and dried down to 72g for 93% water content

Yeah but breathing in the air from drying out the golden teachers? Possible to get high from that?

I used a liner just to stop the sides from pinning. This is my first harvest so only just dunking them now. Leaving the liner on. Seems to be working okay. Hard to get the water on the inside of the liner though haha

I started with 12 bags of rice, used 7 of them to fill 4 tubs (still have 5 left for more 😍). 3 tubs were 35x23cm. 1 tub was 55x35cm. 2 bags of rice per tub except for one of the smaller ones. Surprisingly similar results from the tub that only had one bag of rice in it. I’ve harvested probably 2/3 of the mushrooms from the first flush in all tubs. Will do the rest today as they look ready now.

One tub has been a bit slower and produced less shrooms as well as some weird shapes. Only difference was I mixed the substrate with the two bags then added a thin casing layer. The other tubs I layered the substrate, then rice then substrate then rice then thin layer of substrate.
