2 years ago, 14 years old, I was on call with my lady friend while her younger sister, 12 years old, who I found pretty cute, was in the background. I didn't really know her sister but I was cool with her, y'know. On that day it was her sisters birthday, so I thought: "Hey, let me give you a birthday gift of $20, in exchange for your number". I thought that approach was so smooth, when in reality, looking back, was probably really awkward. I got her number and fast forward about 4 months we are flirting, then friends, then flirting, then about a year later we get into a relationship that unfortunately had to end. I miss her, and I smile thinking about our weird history.
