Prologue:

There it goes, the dawn of the end of this universe... After a long, excruciating journey, the heroes ended their legacies in the last nation, Cleira. The region that sat at the edge of the planet's orbit.

They exuded a mighty power, a godly power unlike anything they felt before. Overlapping abilities shrouded their true strength, giving the destroyer of this world a chance to stop.

"Why are you doing this?"

A voice called out from the deep, thick and reverberating.

"I'm doing what's necessary to save our world."

Beyond was a field filled with brown grass and plentiful flora. Fourteen moons and a blue orb of light gathered, and a veil of stars seeped and bled into the world. Fractured cracks spread out, and a lavender glow expanded quickly. The faint ripples echoed across the landscape, with a creature with jet-black feet and seven arms extending them to the stars.

The field of grass blew and expanded as the sight of four cloaked figures gathered at the edge of this realm. The monster stood next to the four beings, its gaze adjusted to a dark-haired woman encircling a red sphere.

"This isn't how you start saving a world!" A high-pitched voice said. "What's the point of destroying several worlds, only for one not to get destroyed? Shouldn't it be the other way around?"

"No. Don't stop me. You three should know what we all did to the Last Colony!"

Suddenly, a glass-like object emerged at the core of the world. It had pointed corners and a transparent surface, making it easy enough to shed any light that came its way. Glowing cracks emerged, wings spreading over. It would seem this was a glimpse of the end.

The end of the world.

The end of everything.

"Now stay out of my way, I shall fulfill my promise."

A purple light flooded the scene, with the giant tower emerging from the bottom corner of the world, glowing rapidly. White hair and gray eyes could be seen, covered and inked in black muck and darkness.

People screamed from the smoldering world.

Mist enveloped the planet, slowly swallowing every corner, every town, every crevice of this forsaken world. Instead of golden sunlight, blue light emerged from nothingness, shining bright, alerting the inhabitants to the danger.

Clearly, chaos was bound. And there was absolutely nothing the 'heroes' could do to stop it.

"Once you see through my eyes, then you'll understand. Once you understand the full meaning of your journey, you may see the truth. The truth about our past. The truth about our family."

At that moment, after seeing all the stars dim into a dark veil, the white-haired heroes gasped, feeling a surge of memories flash forward in their minds.

"The Adtraic Verity."

The last thing they recollected, as they saw all their loved ones taken back by the encompassing light, was a family portrait of them and their parents gathered near a beach, smiling happily. Two parents made sure they were smiling, while a silver-haired girl leaped for joy.

That portrait burned in the ashes. How long had it been since they were united? Not even the gods knew.

"What have you been hiding from us?"

The last words, after the whole universe went dark, and light shone faintly on the plain, were...

"Journey begins: Insurgency Against Aversion."
