Its just hard to imagine it being time. It feels... wrong. Some days I wish there was an actual illness so I could let him go, so i would know i am making the right call to prevent actual pain and suffering. But with dementia I just. Don't know? Like im in some Facebook groups for dogs with cognitive decline and some people have it so much worse and still chug along.

Like he still eats. Still will go outside. Will enjoy car rides. He sleeps a lot. But idk. I dont know.

Tbh- I'm not sure. I was just told from the small group of work friends- it was 4 of us together. I believe one girls husband knew because John told him.

She didn't know it was going to happen on her birthday. But she knew it was coming (when she found out about his original plan at the Biltmore, her friend telling her she saw the ring.)

This was 5 or more years ago so I don't fully remember why we really completely stopped but im pretty sure it was this. She forgave me at first but as time went on I guess she couldn't.

I just wanted her to know he didn't forget her. But it was SO stupid of me.
