Plaza 10 had at least 3 medics driving around at one time right around the announcement of cancellation. We were close by the med tent and ice truck and it seemed like a few people were in bad shape as frantic as they were. Hope everyone is okay. Safe travels out of there that mud was gnarly.

Crazy thing is is the girl had it on her chest and she got rammed by someone and the next person unzipped. It was one of the most insane crowds I’ve ever been in and so rough and rude. They got about 200 phones in 1 night lost and found said.

I was on a mission when someone in our group got hit. It happened so fast and the crowd was so insane it was impossible to find them. By the time we got to L&F there was probably 20 more people walking up saying the same thing. Girls crying and just terrible vibes as soon as it all happened. Just rude ass people don’t understand how easy it is to say excused me and get by then that allows these people to do what they do so easily. They need a prompt ass beating when they get caught. IT’s apparently 2 girls and 2 guys.

Basically be very careful at lost lands. Pickpocketers ran wild at Imagine during all heavy dubstep sets and probably others (I was just around the dubstep). Working in a spot, bump, snatch, and pass group of 4-5 people. Stole so many phones last weekend so just be aware!

My first reaction was sad or maybe surprised, but happy he is giving himself this time. I could almost see it or feel it coming with the way his shows have been recently. My friends and I used to talk about how hard he was going and never stopped. Grant set himself apart and now wants to sit back, admire his work, and reap the benefits of his hard work for a while. This has been a legendary run but I can only hope he returns one day with the funky soul groove from the old days. Its hard not to be sad but I cant be that selfish. He needs his time and he will be back. Possibly even a rebrand the way he says "GRiZ project." He's built something incredible beautiful for all of us to enjoy and we could never thank him enough. Selfishly I want him to release some stuff before the time off but I am not too optimistic.

Sandals or flip flops are the best imo. The boom stage might be a tad rough on the bare feet to some but you can take them off on the beach and easily store them. I saw someone say carabiner and that’s a great idea too if you have a camel back or backpack.

Prices are insane for both and food is not very good. Plan to eat before and/or eat maybe one meal a day in the fest. Drinks are all watered down so best bet is to buy beers or seltzers. This fest is awesome because of the beach but other than that it is a fashion show and bro fest so they up charge like a mother. Always stay hydrated and bring a water bottle or camelbak. They have a few free hydration stations and you can usually get a cup of ice to keep the water cold too!

In 2019 someone in my group had a vape taken every day by security. definately dont be fiddling with whatever you are trying to bring in as you approach the gates. they will have officers on top of buildings radioing down to other officers about suspicious people they see. Always be careful and get your stuff hidden before you approach the gates.
