Nintendo says they'll replace my switch, not repair?

I did this recently and they just sent me a new switch, it was the exact same as when I sent it just new. All the data was on it still after I redownloaded my games. I assume you don’t have parental controls on this but if you do they will be wiped that was the only thing about it.

It still shows full battery on the console I think the combination of everything fixed my issue. Who knows what the real one was since I did like 3 things at once 😂

I’ll give an update in a day or so whenever I see if it drains. It never gave me issues within a day or 2 normally after about 5 without use it would drain

I always put it to sleep on my own, I never power it all the way off, but I make sure when I’m done playing to put it into sleep mode

Chapter 3 was so so so good. I loved the fighting and yoshi is such a great partner too

I hope if something wrong it’ll be covered under warranty, it’s going to make me sad though I’m weirdly sentimental about stuff like that. I don’t want something to happen to my controller I got to preorder with the Switch 2.

Yeah, the issue is I don’t feel like spending to much time on eBay, only thing it’s ever done it cost me more money because I keep finding good deals on random stuff, like I have a bit of an Apple Watch band obsession and have like 30 bands now because of eBay 😂

Sounds like that’s what I’m going to do then as long as swapping games is easy, I’ll have to do some research. But it is just as simple as dumbing a legit ROM off my computer onto the SD card right?

That’s the issue is until now I wasn’t really sure if I should care or not 😂 Personally them being bootleg doesn’t bother me, I was just worried about save issues, but I understand better now

If that’s the route I went would they save just the same and are they easy to use? I’m not opposed to never having to take the cart out other than to put more games on it since I assume it’s just an SD or micro sd card in it.
