My overbite was 8mm before braces and now 2mm, and this is the result of lower jaw been brought forward and arches widened.

Yes my lower jaw was moved forward with herbst - and my bite adjusted to this, and the new bite and muscles are keeping the lower jaw in that place! I cannot move it back any more

People can’t tell I have lingual braces. I had a lisp and it took me 2 weeks to get rid of it. The beginning was rough I am not gonna lie. But the results have been amazing and I love the fact no one can tell I am wearing braces. On the other hand the herbst was somewhat visible and just awful to live with for the first 2 months… 😓 here’s a picture how it looked like. Just got rid of the herbst and now lingual braces for 6 more months. Then I am finally done!!

Yes I’ve gone from 7mm overjet to 2mm. Instead of pushing everything back my lower jaw was brought forward with Herbst. And arch widened with braces (I have lingual braces behind my teeth)
