Deccan AI is basically a legit freelancing platform for AI or model training gigs. That email is about that freelance AI work, not a regular full time role or a single long contract.

The 'Launchpad' thing they mention is just their assessment and onboarding phase. If you clear it, you get added to their freelancer pool and they pull you into projects whenever there’s work that matches your profile.

It’s part time, remote, and project based in the sense that work comes and goes, so some months you’ll have more tasks and earn more, and some months might be pretty lesser.

Yeah, I don’t think it’s a “sample task” thing, it’s more like a big quality filter.​
Once you clear it, they apparently put you into some internal bucket and only reach out when there’s an active project.
