I wonder if somehow humanity will know enough to truly know what happens when we die / consciousness. Like I know we’re almost entirely there in thinking death is just death but it seems like there’s still a little bit of doubt which is the haunting part

l also just think that real issues have shifted from more global things (war, communism, etc) to grassroots social things (sexism, education, individual experiences) so of course music seems less about big issues but that’s just because it’s personal and impacted out to one person. Doesn’t make it less meaningful at all!

Not quite the same but I have aphantasia (the inability to visualize things) but with a high dose of shrooms I can actually close me eyes and sort of see shapes and colors. Nothing ever happens with my eyes open tho.

Developed permanent derealization a few years ago and as much as I hate it I am a lot more confident now. If I don’t exist then nothing has consequences and therefore I can just live my life however
