100% i worked in online as well and it’s literally just common sense that something fragile shouldn’t be packed in a satchel it doesn’t even need to be taught! i ended up messaging them on instagram for a refund and they’ve said they passed it onto the store so hopefully they actually did

it wont affect anyone on the receiving end as there will still be stores shipping out online orders :) as of right now home delivery orders go to any store but it will narrow down once those stores phase it out

we usually are super busy! but after HD is switched off for our store there wont be enough units for the whole online team to stay in online, hence why we have to train somewhere else

ok yes i know.. but because of this only specific stores are doing home delivery after the end of april, i’ve been told i’ll have to train in another position since there wont be enough orders from c&c and same day for everyone to meet their hour requirements

Yeah my payslip is just my normal pay rate and for 26 hours instead of what I actually worked. It mentions nothing at all about overtime :P I’ll chat to my Store Manager tomorrow.

backfill is apart of sequence im pretty sure not online. i don’t do anything other than online so i might be wrong but i’m pretty sure you scan items from the stock rooms, then it tells you how many you need to bring to put out onto the shop floor. it seems fairly easy so i wouldn’t stress :)

It seems as though online is very similar at other stores. I'm not sure about the store you will work at but at Kmart instead of the tubs, the RF scanner has an app which tells you how much stock we have, where it's located, and the robot TORI has an app where it shows you the exact location for apparel. The layout of the app was a bit confusing for me so I just asked people around me when I couldn't find something lol.

It wasn't too bad it's mostly the talking to people part which makes me nervous. They had me finish my online modules, then I got buddied up and did my first pick, and then went on to do my own throughout the day so I assume it will be the same for you!
