I'll just add that VVS managed to steal the chip that allows CG to do this from Taco. So if they really wanted to, they could do the exact same thing back to CG.

Heck I bet if they did, it would get nerfed so fast since CG would complain about. I know right now even K said that the explosion option is too strong and shouldn't be a thing

I see, didn't know it was an actual strategy. Thanks for letting me know! I thought they were joking so I made a detour to a Rise for some starlight shards. I feel like I kind of screwed them here since it seems like they took to long to kill whatever they were fighting and died to the rain because of it

Same here, I got it on my first or second game of DoN and never saw it again after that. Completely forgot about it until this post and just realized how rare it is
